“Staff service was excellent. Breakfast buffet and menu was very good. Room size was comfortable. Area around Tavern was lively but the noise was not excessive and did not detract from sleeping. A gem of a place, and we have stayed in many but this was for the type of accomodation one of the best experiences we have had.”

“Good: The decoration of the room is cozy and in good classic style There is a bar on the ground floor which is good Staff are nice and friendly Bad: Strong smell in the bathroom which is disgusting, we think that comes from the eroding wood The water boiler is not clean and there is even water remain inside Being asked for the room key after check out but believe their staff mixed things up (Wrong number tag on the key)”

“Room name “Oxford”. Rooms fixtures/fitting and decorating was lovely. Calling it a “superior room” for me was stretching it purely down to the small size of the room. Reception on my the tv was pretty bad, making the tv irritating to watch. Plus the usb sockets by the kettle don't work. Pub is a stunningly beautiful ”
