"Had a little bath problem in the first room. Mainatainance said they came by and fixed it. They didnt even touch it. Anyways they gave us another room on the mountainside this time and was very happy. Try the alaskan omelet at the Forte. Amazing!"

"Didn’t care for the self check in with codes to enter at main door and then again at the room door. Too much hassle. The room was only big enough to walk around the bed, with a little more space at the foot of the bed, the bathroom was at least a decent size but we felt like we were in a small box. It was cold, the heater was a wall heater that was so loud we didn’t want to run it for very long. I shut a floor vent that was allowing cold air to come in and then had to cover it with a towel to keep it warmer. I finally had to turn off the refrigerator, after several hours it started making a noise that sounded like morris code. To top it off, it sounded like a camper water pump noise periodically, maybe when someone in a room above us turned on the water? It was very loud, went off at 4:30 in the morning, just long enough to wake us up. When we booked the room through Expedia we didn’t realize we were renting a room in a bed and breakfast. There was help yourself cold breakfast items but we would have never rented a room like this, we like more privacy and quiet for a good nites sleep and this wasn’t it. We paid way too much for a poor nites sleep! "

"We were not happy with the road on the first day (early May). Dirt roads get very muddy in the spring when the ground is thawing. But by the end of the week the road had pretty well dried out and was not too bad. We had a couple minor questions that the host quickly answered. Pictures of the property need updated in the listing. The cozy log cabin now has a two story log garage and apartment very close. The views into the valley toward Turn Again Arm and Anchorage were fabulous. Overall, we were very happy with the accommodations and would recommend it."

"Adorable little room, great location, restaurant and bar on site, clean and well-kept, neat view, but ZERO amenities: no microwave, no fridge, we had to ask for a coffee maker, nothing welcoming in the lobby (like tea or coffee). Restaurant kept getting our order wrong. This little Inn may be a more affordable option if you aren't staying long or don't need anything but a bed and a bathroom."

"Nice quiet and clean property to be able to relax. Had everything you could need for your stay. Would definitely stay again and the hot tub over looking Mountain View’s tops it all off with the fireplace afterwards to warm up and continue your relaxing. Definitely would call it a home away from home. "

"Loved this cabin! Good location for cozy little place. Check in was probably a glitch somewhere - but we ended up getting in after trying a few things. Not sure why the doors dont close all the way but its possible its the wood and the moisture... still was a great place to stay!"
