Fairfield Inn & Suites Lynchburg Liberty University
8/10 Good
"I’m going to be brutally honest. The community area’s TV programming has to be NEUTRAL. Playing controversial shows like “The View” is not appropriate. Show sports or the weather maybe even the shopping network. OK? I gave a lower rating because of this error in judgment."
"Quick stay for work, Hotel is bright and newly renovated. Clean comfortable room/bed. Hot water and decently sized shower in a small bathroom. Microwave and fridge available. Free breakfast. Worth the price charged. Would stay again."
Craddock Terry Hotel, Lynchburg, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"First let me say that the hotel is very nice and that I would stay there again the next time visiting Lynchburg. The only issue that I ran into was kind of a quirky issue between Hotels.com and the hotel. I was using one key points to pay for much of the room, and spent extra $39 to upgrade for a premium room. When I got to the hotel, they said that the premium room was not available but would discount me back to the standard room. Oh wait, the amount you paid for a premium room is cheaper that our standard room so we cannot give you the discount. Please pick out a bottle of wine for your troubles. Guess what hit my incidental's, yep the bottle of wine. This is not a complaint against the hotel or hotel.com, just one of those Quirky hiccups while traveling. At least the bottle of wine was good:)"
