“Las Amapolas delivered as promised. If you are looking for a cozy, well-equipped place to base your Ambergris Caye vacation from and away from the crowd, this is it. The location is lovely, right on the beach. The deck was the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee and the beautiful sunrises, and to listen to the surf breaking over the barrier reef. We divided our meals between eating / cooking in and dining out. The kitchen area is small and so efficiency is the watchword. There are lovely……

“If you’re looking to get away from the bustle and golf cart noise, this is a good option. The apartment was clean and everything worked. Pool and grounds were very well maintained! Not a ton of food options around, otherwise very pleasant. ”

“Absolutely beautiful home, very clean. Plenty of beach/pool towels and very comfy beds with nice linens. Incredibly well stocked kitchen. The view is amazing, with a pool and private little sand/beach area where I could just sit and read a book all day. Definitely recommend a golf cart as there is not a lot in walking distance. But if you’ve already seen San Pedro and just want to chill in a quiet area, this home is perfect for that, too. ”

“The location was amazing… just be warned the bar Sandy Toes is right next door so expect loud music until 12am… maybe a little past 12… even a white noise app and speaker couldn’t cover the bass rattling the walls- but most nights we were out having fun anyways. Apartment was so clean, so many towels provided and beach towels as well- wash cloths toilet paper etc. really clean and just a great setup. Beds and pillows were comfy. Would stay again!”

“Loved being in this area . Everything was in walking distance . We did rent a golf cart for getting to Secret beach and touring . Loved the outdoor space at the property. If youre looking for quiet solitude this is not the spot for you , as the bars are open late ( ish ) . The night time vibes are great if you love reggae ( we do ) Managers and cleaning staff were amazing and responded quickly to questions. Tour recommendation was Mikes fishing adventures, did a reef fishing tour that did not……

“Firstly, Darryl, the property manager, does an exceptional job. He didn't just meet us and hand us a key. He personally gave us a tour of all the facilities and included a free Rum Punch at the wonderful TIKI bar on the premises while he gave us tips about the area. He also arranged taxis and a snorkeling trip. He was always available to handle anything we needed. He is the best property manager we've ever had. I gave the Property Listing only 3 stars because VRBO is confused about the actual……

“Everything as advertised and then some. What a great place and wonderful stay! Diana (the host) and Crystal (housekeeping) made me part of their little family complete with assorted pets and animals (resident dogs, chickens and iguanas). And, as well as, inviting me along gor social activities such as a local weekly trivia game night. I have been to many guesthouses and B&B’s all over the world and this was a first rate operation. From help booking day trips, renting a golf cart, restaurant……

“The beach front property was beautiful and well maintained. There many restaurants nearby. We rented a golf cart so we could travel both north and especially south on the island. Everyone we met in the course of our stay was friendly and helpful. We hope to visit this house and area again. It was a great vacation.”

“This condo was beautiful and exactly what we needed for our Christmas! We really loved that The Farmhouse was right across the street, so we supported them every morning for breakfast. The residents at the complex were all so friendly and made us feel welcome every time we encountered them, even the gators! Yes, they are around and so cool to see in the wild.
