"We rented a room at the last minute for a low price. This is not a typical hotel. We learned that we had been expected to bring our own linen, and we would [will?] be charged a cleaning fee if the room is not clean enough. Massive space for cost. This is an event cluster of apartments, and the management is not quite set up for smooth per diem rentals. All things considered, a pleasant stay and we navigated the lack of short term rental support."

"The information to get to apartment was not clear at all, the work part was trying to get into the place. They warned about locks but was almost impossible to get entry for both outside and inside doors. Was so bad we didn’t leave for evening as we didn’t think we’d get back in. Next morning couldn’t lock it. So frustrating. Left message on board but no reply to this day. It was very clean tho"

"We truly enjoyed our stay at this property in Amboise. From the moment we arrived, Bertrand was a wonderful asset to the hotel. He was excellent with communication and put such a positive, welcoming face on the property. It was obvious that he was listening carefully and responding thoughtfully to our needs. His presence there should be highly valued, in our opinion. The breakfast was excellent and was definitely a highlight of our stay. We also appreciated the overall experience and will be recommending this property to our American friends who visit the area. Our only constructive comment would be that the swimming pool could perhaps have been kept a little cleaner. There were leaves in the pool each day while we were swimming. It was a very minor issue and certainly did not detract from our overall enjoyment of the hotel. We had a very nice stay and would be happy to recommend this property to others visiting Amboise."

"Reception was very friendly and helpful re parking my car. Throughout my 2 day saty staff were very competent, efficient and helpful in ll situations. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of food available. Bed very comfortable; bathroom excellent. The hotel is a bit "tired" in terms of decor, carpeting etc. - couls do with a facelift."

"The view was amazing. The room was well decorated, very comfortable, and very convenient to the main tourist areas. I highly recommend doing dinner at Le Shaker right across the bridge from the hotel for a great view, amazing food and reasonable price. The only complaint is that the Air Conditioner had a pretty loud buzz every couple of minutes. I didn't mention it to the staff, but surely the maid heard it."
