Room was clean and perfect for our needs. Kids loved the bunk beds. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Location was great too and having a supermarket round the corner made life easier for snacks on the way into the centre.

I liked my stay at the Chasse Hotel Residency. The staff was great. Everyone was really nice and tried their best to make the guests feel welcome. The breakfast room was great. Breakfast was very good as well though it lacked a variety of vegan options. But I didn't ask for any. The hotel room was completely fine. I liked that there was a grocery shopping opportunity near the hotel. I'd recommend it.

Calm stay in Amsterdam

Nice stay in Amsterdam, the Hotel is situated in a calm area close to a park, a Lidl stora, some restaurants and to public transportation. The rooms are relatively spacious and clean.

At first when we arrived, I was a little worried about our booking choice but it actually was a great little place. We didn't choose the breakfast option so I can't comment. Check in was great. Having spent a lot of time in the Old Town it was really nice to be out of it and in a neighbourhood. A10 walk in one direction takes you right to the Metro which is then just a 8 minute metro downtown Old Town and a 10 minute walk in the opposite direction takes you to a lovely street and neighbourhood and Tram. We had breakfast at a lovely place called the Cottage. Rooms were clean, quiet and it was nice to have cooking options if we had stayed longer. Oh and there is a grocery store 2 minute walk from the hotel.

The location is terrific: less than ten minutes' walk - pulling luggage - from Amstel Station; across the street from Lidl (grocery - similar to US Aldi); a block and a half from a lovely park; ten minutes walking to restaurants and shops. Our room was lovely, with an excellent bed and a walk-in waterfall shower; staff were all solicitous and helpful; and the breakfast each day was really a brunch with many, many options. Chasse Hotel Residency was perfect for our four-day visit to Amsterdam!

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff is located a short walk from Amstel Metro station. This hotel is located in a renovated former church, everything was new and very clean. Breakfast buffet was great!

Extremely comfortable hotel in quiet neighborhood

We just spent five nights here and will definitely stay again. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff is very friendly and the location is quiet. We were visiting family in Oost, so the location was extremely convenient, but if you are coming to Amsterdam to see the center, this is a bit off the beaten track. You will need either a bike or to take the tram, which is nearby.

Liked that the hotel used to be a church. It’s in a quiet area and the walk to the train station is about 10 minutes. It’s easy to use the metro to get around Amsterdam.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! the room was just around the corner from the reception desk which was convenient. At times in the evening we could hear a bit of noise . The breakfast was very good! The only compliant is this hotel is on the Eastside which made our travels to the central area a long way (for us) to travel. One must walk a few blocks to get the tram and then travel about 20 to 30 minutes to get around where all the good restaurants are and cancel rides, museums. But the hotel was very nice.

A Gem in Amsterdam

It is a hidden gem in Amsterdam. The hotel located in a residential neighborhood and right next door to Lidl. Our room is equipped with a small kitchen that able us to have breakfast, before we start our day sightseeings. The hotel is where an old church used to be, but with additional additions to it. The hallway are lined with marbles that is way more than I expected. The staff are wonderful and make your stay a pleasured one. There is also an Atrium that served breakfast and in the future, it will become a full restaurant. The walk to center city is only 40 minutes, with beautiful canals, shops and unique homes to see. The price is reasonable, we had a two twin beds and the room is spacious for European standard and air conditioning. Even though we don't needed for our stays, but it is available if needed.
