We enjoyed a beautiful view of the canal. Our room was spacious for 3 people and the bathroom was quite large. We didn't mind walking up the stairs. The staff were amazing and always available to help us. The lounge offered drinks and snacks from 4-6 that made our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying here.

It was an excellent stay for the week I was there. Staff was friendly, room was always cleaned and prepared after a long day. Near the metro and tram stops which was very helpful and things to do around the hotel was walking distance!

The Wi-Fi in the room we were in did not work very well at all to the point it was not usable that was in room 110. The price point we thought was quite exorbent for the hotel room and the breakfast option. It should be noted about the stairs if anybody has a mobility problem it would be an issue for them to get up to the floors they could be worded better in the description of the hotel of how steep they are.

We loved everything about this property, including the 62 steps up to our room. The property was quaint and historical. It was so charming and absolutely beautiful. Everything was walkable or easily accessible via the nearby train station.

We loved our canal view terrace, and the outdoor seating. Definitely worth the upgrade. The staff was very helpful with area tips and solving our charger problem. Would stay here again.

It's in a traditional Amsterdam building, so it's tall and thin with steep stairs. The staff were able to get us the ground floor room we needed and were kind throughout. There is a nice view of the canal from the terrace at the back. Staff were helpful. Area is really good for trams and walkable to the Van Gogh museum

Il personale è stato davvero molto gentile e disponibile. La camera dove abbiamo soggiornato è confortevole; solo 2 punti da migliorare: il lavandino del bagno veramente mignon ed un’ attenzione in più per la pulizia. Very cute tiny hotel with super welcoming and kind staff. I will say that there are a few big downsides - the main one being that the toilet in our room had a clear glass door, which was uncomfortable. The fixtures in our room were a bit worn out and some parts of the room felt like they could’ve been a bit cleaner. That being said, the hospitality at this hotel is amazing. The staff were so kind and welcoming, and there is a free happy hour and a cute little terrace outside that is open all hours. The staff let us stay on the terrace even after we had checked out, and they let us check out late for free because my friend had been sick the night before and wasn’t able to get much sleep. Really the main thing that stopped this from being a four star review is that the price is the bathroom door situation - we basically ended up using the downstairs bathroom the entire time, which can only be accessed by going outside and was kind of inconvenient. In the grand scheme of things it’s not a huge deal, but it feels like such an easy thing to fix by adding a privacy screen or something. I don’t take points off for things outside of the hotel’s control (ie, outside noise etc) but this is something that is definitely within the hotel’s control and I think having some more privacy would’ve made our stay more comfortable.

Unfortunate air condition was broken. The staff was excellent at providing a day refund and free breakfast to compensate. We also received a portable air conditioning unit which helped.

We were welcomed four hours early and told our room was ready before time, which we found delightful after a long journey from London. The area around the hotel was very quiet, interjected by noise from neighbouring students who were welcoming in the new term!!l Breakfast was tasty but minimal hot food available. A lovely hotel, recommended for good local transport links and a supermarket within 5 minute walk.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 night stay here. Extremely clean facilities and helpful staff. I also opted to have breakfast during my stay., something that I traditionally would not do; however, it was totally worth it. As a female solo traveler., I would stay there again in a heartbeat as it’s close to everything.
