"We spent Xmas and New Years at the cabin. We had a wonderful time. This is an ideal place to completely unwind and relax. The forest is 2 minutes away. We were lucky we had snow, and we took winter walks in the forest. The cabin is cozy and had lots lots of character. Thre are fantastic views of the forest from the upstairs balcony. The balcony was also ideal to see in all the New Year's Eve fireworks. Udo and his family were very welcoming. Thank you we had a fantastic time at the cabin."

"Excellent place to stay right in the middle of Weimar, close to everything! Very clean and the owner even picked me up from the bus station as I arrived with the bus, not a car. The owner doesn't speak English but we managed to communicate with a translator app. "

"Das Chalet ist schön aufgeteilt, Ess-, Wohn- und Schlafbereich. Die Einrichtung ist auf alt-romantisch getrimmt jedoch mit neuen Möbeln versehen. Alles hat einwandfrei funktioniert und war sauber. Jedoch das Internet könnte ein kleines Upgrade vertragen. Einziges Manko ist die Lage an der Hauptstraße. Diese ist etwas laut bei geöffneten Fenstern, besonders an Wochentagen. Der Vermieter war auskunftsfreudig, hilfsbereit und wollte das man sich wohl fühlt."

It has a traditional feel and design with stone walls, but also had all the modern conveniences. "It is a great hotel, but for summer or spring season is not very recommended, it does not have air conditioning and rooms can get very very hot. Aside from that inconvenience, the hotel is on a great spot, just steps from the main train station. Breakfast is great!"
