Great location in a unique old property. Large room with kitchenette. We enjoyed our short stay and had a good night’s sleep in a comfy bed. No night noise to bother you. Would recommend if you’re looking for part of Alaska history and not a big chain.

Beautiful, historic hotel in Anchorage. Great location, close to many fun places in Anchorage. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. There are some unhoused people in the area, something to keep in mind. Less than 10 minute walk, all downhill, to the Alaska railroad. Thankfully we had nice, sunny weather so it was an easy walk.

It is so nice to stay in a historical place that still have the original fixtures and is so very clean and put together. You feel like you're in part of that old history.
