Modern & Unique South Anchorage Home

This South Anchorage home is clean, open and bright with a unique modern design. The property is fully equipped with everything you will need in order to cook, relax and unwind after a long day. The location of this home is a perfect launching point for daily adventures in the Anchorage area and offers quick access to the Seward Highway. Chugach State Park hiking trails are a short 10-minute drive away. The home is 15 minutes from Downtown Anchorage and 10 minutes from the airport.

The unique design of this home includes white washed pine tongue and groove ceiling, a spiral staircase and special Alaskan accents. Windows and French doors fill the home with light from every corner all year round. Home is nestled on a large lot with mature birch trees, charming landscaping and a fully fenced-in yard. The southwest facing front law is perfect for relaxing outdoors and enjoying the summer sun.

It’s a wonderful house and I highly recommend it to anyone staying in Anchorage due to great location. Incredibly kind and accommodating host. Perfect location for me and my family’s needs and would be an even better choice for tourists. This VRBO was in a great location and quaint. There are a few things that could use a little attention to detail. Overall an okay stay for those looking for a place close to the airport, restaurants, 20 min to downtown and great trails near by. Accommodations are pretty simple, and a bit of a pet odor on the main level.

Alaska Family Adventure

Fabulous property, perfectly located for our base camp. We took trips down the Turnagain Arm, to Whittier and spent time in Girdwood and Anchorage. Our grandson wanted to move in (he was obsessed with the spiral staircase). Thank you for the wonderful stay - we played lots of Jenga!

Door handle upon entry needed repair. We were so busy the entire weekend we did not reach out to property owner (my apologies). Thus we just jiggled it to get it to work for us. Overall my guests enjoyed the space, it was clean and in close proximity to my home in Anchorage.

Great spot for a family!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house! It was us, another couple, our two babies, and a dog and was the best spot. The yard was fully fenced for the dog. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone visiting Anchorage!

Great Find

We loved our stay in this house. We had 5 adults and the house had plenty of room for all of us. It is near to all main roads and easy to access restaurants, shopping and nearby attractions. It was the best stocked home we have ever stayed in and the dogs loved the large fenced in yard.

Property was very clean. Perfectly sized and well appointed. Listing stated there was a trundle bed in one bedroom but much to our delight all bedrooms had queen beds. Great for 3 couples.

Great S. Anchorage Accomodations!

Wonderful stay in this spacious house. Our group (5) felt very comfortable. All amenities were taken care of. Great location, too. We had multiple vehicles, but the driveway was huge and accomodated all. Host was terrific to work with and very responsive. Would definitely rent this property again!!
