"This was our second stay this year. It is a wonderfully relaxing hotel . Located by a private beach which, like the rest of the resort is kept in pristine condition. We chose the half board option and had the pleasure of eating excellent food while watching the sun set Looking forward to returning next year"

"We loved our stay - homey feeling with bedroom (x-large bed), bath and bed up in loft on the upper level. The unit had 2 balconies, lots of windows to open for fresh air. Clean, hot water and easy to communicate with the host. The Ipapanti Church is right there in the Square. It is open for viewing. The architecture to be admired. The bells do toll from 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM. The resonance is perfect. It is easy to walk to and around the central area of this location."

"Great location across from the beach . Decent room and nice breakfast. Easy parking. Was a relief to have some excellent food at a late hour of arrival . Front desk staff and restaurant staff excellent. Breakfast waiters a bit miserable but fine. Would recommend for a short stay. 20 minute walk to main tavernas /port."

"We stayed at four different hotels on this trip. All were good but ASO Kalamata was undeniably the best. They do the little things right that other hotels can't or won't do, such as a corkscrew in the room and your choice of four different pillows to best suit your personal sleep style. Street parking was easy in September either directly in front of the hotel or across the street, and the breakfast was fabulous. Finally, you could really tell each employee was extremely passionate both about the hotel and their guests. If you have reason to be in Kalamata and want to be anywhere near the harbor, this is the only place to be."

"Great hotel in a great position right in the middle of Kalamata, close to the charming old town and the main shopping streets. The staff were really helpful and friendly and did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible despite there being major road works outside the hotel when we were staying. Hotel parking is a real bonus in the middle of a city. Our only suggestion would be to include more storage in the room. One clothes frame with no drawers and hardly any shelving made it a challenge to store our clothes. All fine for a couple of nights city break but any longer and it's a squeeze!"
