Beautiful place

House was perfect for all of us we had 9 people 5 of which are children ages 2 to 16 very clean and quiet cozy little home in the national forest. Would stay again if we come back that way.

A Sportsman's Paradise

The actual cabin is simply fantastic and the location is exactly where you need to be if you are looking to go fishing, herping or turkey hunting. Absolutely FABULOUS!

Relaxing rustic getaway

Very large house located in a secluded wooded area. Overall, we found it very convenient and relaxing. It had a homey feeling like staying at grandma's house. We went to Candyland, and it was very fun for Christmas.

Perfect little vacation house

Property was very nice. Cozy little place, back porch was perfect for jist sitting and enjoying the night air. Ariel the kitty was a welcomed addition to the house!!

We enjoyed our stay

The listing is accurate and our stay was enjoyable. We really loved the back porch! If I had to list a negative, it would be all the traffic noise was a little unexpected but that's not the owners fault. We would stay again.

Great place great owner

The Conecuh Cabin is a wonderful place to stay! The cabin is clean and the decor really gives a local feel. The owner was very welcoming and made sure to have everything we needed before we got there. However, the location right in the Conecuh National Forest is the main draw. Perfect place to jump off and explore the area. Will definitely stay again!

Family Nature Getaway

Conecuh Cabin was perfect for our family trip. 7 adults, 4x 50+, 3x 20+. Favorite features: screened in porch, close to Auburn’s Solon Dixon Forestry and Wildlife Center, and hiking trails. Enjoyed time at the Sweet South Market. So Handy to have the big grill and full kitchen for our group! Loved the rustic nature themed decor. The Host was always very responsive and pleasant. Would definitely recommend a stay ❤️

Andalusia Rodeo Weekend

The property was as advertised and pictured. The signage was the best I have seen. You can't miss it! The beds were all very comfortable, the kitchen was well-appointed, and there was adequate seating at the tables for meals. Both bathrooms had access from the hall. We had one couple but the others were single adults or children. Not having a "master bathroom" with access through the bedroom was great for our group. The owners were easy to contact and easy to work with. We will definitely stay here again.

Conecuh Cabin Communications Exercise

We are a group of amateur radio operators from Baldwin County that participated in the annual "Alabama QSO Party." This is a communications exercise designed to prepare ham radio operators to provide emergency communications in any type of disaster when normal communications channels are down. Our objective was to contact as many counties in Alabama as possible during a ten hour period and also as many stations around the USA and the world as possible in the same time frame. Thanks to Hunter, who allow us to erect our portable wire antennas on the property, we made 375 contacts in 17 Alabama counties and 6 foreign countries and well as about 40 of the 50 states! We have set a new record for this event in Covington County! It was a great place to stay and we were very comfortable. We love Ariel the cabin house cat!

Cozy Retreat

This cozy, well-decorated cabin feels just like my grandma’s cabin growing up—warm, welcoming, and full of charm. It’s perfectly remote, nestled at the edge of a forest park with tons of local wildlife, hiking trails, and nearby fishing spots. Best of all, it’s still within driving distance to the gulf if you want a beach day. If you're looking to unwind and reconnect with nature, this place is a hidden gem. We hope to be back soon!

Outdoor Paradise

Cabin was clean and very nice. We enjoyed the porch and outside grill. We were minutes away from where we hunted. When we weren’t hunting we were cooking out and watching football on the tv. My son came down from IN and my nephews from north FL and we got to spend some family time with them all. We love the driveway, plenty of parking. Can’t wait to stay again next year.

Anniversary Weekend

We absolutely loved our stay at the Conecuh Cabin! Plenty of space and close to Boggs & Boulders, the house was very clean and the covered porch made for the perfect spot to relax 😌 Will definitely be back again!!

Better then expected!

I was able to make reservations the day before coming in (funeral)! Host made everything so simple and was very attentive to any questions I had! The cabin accommodations were great for the family who came in from North Carolina and South Florida! Cabin had everything needed, from linens down to laundry pods and Qtips :) It ended up only being 5 mins from the family farm which made it super convenient vs having a hotel in town! Now that we know the cabin is there, we will definitely be visit again!!
