“The property is charming and as stated in the listing. the main issue were ants throughout, which should have been sprayed for or notify us that we would need to spray. Elsie is very responsive to any needs or questions.”

“This was our second trip to the White House. We enjoyed it just as much as our first trip. We hoped for a nice sunny weekend to enjoy the beautiful outdoors but Mother Nature had different plans. It rained then snowed! However, it didn’t take away from our weekend. The cabin has everything you need should you choose to stay put and enjoy the property. The house is walking distance to apple orchard stands and a quick drive to many wineries. We had the best stay and can’t wait to return again!”

“This was a little piece of heaven. We were in the area for a family members wedding. The house acted as a meeting spot for family to tuch basis and plan. It was nice and quiet, with beautifully lit pathways and ample outside areas to relax. The decorations in the home were done with care for detail. I highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing weekend getaway, or vacation rental. It won't disappoint. 👍😊”

We especially loved cooking in the kitchen and we all took note that it was equipped with everything we needed. We also loved the big fireplace during our rainy stay. We had a few questions during our stay and the owners were fast to respond. We definitely want to come back!”

“This property is Nostalgically charming, being of a certain age the decor and style of this home took me directly back to childhood. Views are breathtaking and the spacing in the home gives the independence and comfort that’s required when traveling with family or friends. Second day we headed up to the top of Skylark park to the foothills and found snow. Spent a couple hours playing in the powder. We decided on some family fun so we hoped over to RedHawk Casino and enjoyed Apex. Food was good ,……

“A wonderful place to stay in Sutter Creek, which is convenient to nearby vineyards and wine tasting establishments. It’s also across the street from a friendly local farmers market on Saturday. I ate breakfast outside in the cafe downstairs while listening to the folk musician performing at the market. The room was quiet and comfortable. The only small con was having to carry our luggage up 2 flights of stairs to our room. Bonus—fresh scones delivered to our door and fresh coffee down the hall.……

“I wish I could give 10 stars to Chef Erik and the staff at the Union Inn. We had a great weekend stay and highly recommend the hotel and restaurant. The room was very nice and the dinners and breakfasts were outstanding.”

The drive at night is super dark on winding narrow dark mountainous roads . But once there - beautiful view . Home is clean . No tvs in bedrooms but comfy and clean . Kinda small but nice for family bonding”

“Apple's Chalet was a wonder place for us to stay for my wife's birthday. She wanted snow and she got it! We absolutely loved the charm, and really appreciated that everything was labeled. Lots of blankets for cold weather and all the floors heated up nicely. Plenty of room for the kids and adults to spread out. We asked for an extra day because of the snow and they even snow plowed the driveway so we could get out once it's stopped snowing. We want to come back in the spring or summer!”

“The house may be small, but it's perfect for a couple's getaway. The place was clean, cozy, and best of all, quiet. The kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals, and the wood stove just adds to the rustic vibe. Definitely would stay again!”

“It was incredible! Such a great spot. I brought my two dogs and they were in absolute heaven. So much room to run and they loved going down to the river. It was a little windy and the neighbor came to check on me. He made sure the roads were clear so I could get in and out. Super sweet! I will definitely be going back!”
