“Our family (three generations) have stayed in many short-term rental properties over the last 20 years and this home, by far, was the cleanest one and I'm pretty picky. Not only was the home spotless, it was beautiful and welcoming. Our family from ages 10 though 78 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was wonderfully quiet and the home is secluded far enough away from the main area of the lake that their was very little boat traffic when we were using the kayaks and paddle boards. ……

“Great area for riding the twisties. Highway is close by as well as easy access to some of the best motorcycle rides in Eastern NC. Ideal location to explore all Franklin/Highlands/Maggie Valley, etc has to offer. The house has plenty of room for 3 couples on the main floor. More beds downstairs for larger groups. Plenty of seating in living room but we loved being in the sunroom enjoying the cabin-like feel.Our host was very accessible via text. We thank him for hosting us and our 2 dogs.”

“My husband and I and our 2 adult children recently stayed a week at peak season.Pros: kudos to the cleaning crew- every corner of the house was spotless! Beautiful home with airy open floor plan, a sun deck, shaded deck, porch, and screened porch- everyone found their favorite spot. House was well-equipped and we lacked for nothing. “Had a wonderful week at this amazing property while visiting family. Weather did not cooperate but we still enjoyed everything about this house. Plenty of room for our crew of 6 adults, 1 infant and 1 toddler. Great covered boat slip for our boat and for fishing! Big kitchen that was well stocked. Bedrooms all nice sizes with nice beds, all king and queen. Very nice bathrooms. Large beautiful deck that we got to see a couple of nice sunsets from while playing games at the picnic table. We did the train ride through the mountains, white water rafting at NOC, tried (failed lol) fishing, and we were close enough to make a day trip to Pigeon Forge. The area is beautiful and so quiet. You’re close enough to go out and have fun but secluded and quiet when you come home. Absolutely beautiful and had an amazing time. Thank you so much. ”
