「Our stay at Velea was fantastic. The building is only 2 years old, very modern, with continual maintenance as it shows no signs of wear like many places do. Pool and Gym facilities are on point. The staff always make a big difference, the staff at Velea were amazing. 「We chose this because we heard Siem Reap (SR) had become a mad house (it has in parts). GVV is a beautiful oasis. There are only four villas, each are two floor, architecturally fun, 2BR/2.5BA. Grounds and pool beautifully landscape. Staff great. But it is too far to walk to SR, which isn’t really a big deal given super cheap tuktuks. 」

"It was a wonderfully relaxing stay. The entire place has a warm, cozy atmosphere, and all the furniture is made of solid wood, giving it a natural and elegant feel. The water pressure was strong and the hot water was steady—perfect for a soothing shower. The spa experience was also excellent, with a calming ambiance and pleasant aroma that helped me fully unwind. Overall, it was a truly rejuvenating stay that I’d highly recommend."
