「市街地よりアンコールワットに近いですが、それでもトゥクトゥクで10分ほど。道路は未舗装のところもあるので、歩くのは辛いと思います。付近にはすぐ近くに小さな売店があって、冷たい飲み物やアイスを売っていたのでよかったです。館内にはレストランや売店は無いですが、その分こじんまりしていて、付近も静かで落ち着きます。スタッフもフレンドリーで、のんびりとアンコールワット観光するときの拠点として良いです。なお、市街地へ出るときも、トゥクトゥクなどをGrabで呼べば、10分ほどで行けるので、不便ではないです。 夜にチェックインするときは、食事と買い物を済ませておくのをおすすめします。」

「Our stay at Velea was fantastic. The building is only 2 years old, very modern, with continual maintenance as it shows no signs of wear like many places do. Pool and Gym facilities are on point. The staff always make a big difference, the staff at Velea were amazing. Chhean provided exceptional service, ensuring any requests were promptly followed up, and being just truly friendly and enthusiastic to assist , we appreciated him very much. 「We chose this because we heard Siem Reap (SR) had become a mad house (it has in parts). GVV is a beautiful oasis. There are only four villas, each are two floor, architecturally fun, 2BR/2.5BA. Grounds and pool beautifully landscape. Staff great. But it is too far to walk to SR, which isn’t really a big deal given super cheap tuktuks. 」
