Anglesea Surf Beach

The location was excellent. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom walls and entry door handles were visibly dirty and needed thorough cleaning to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The hand basin and bathtub plugs were missing. The cold tap at the hand basin was very hard to turn on and off, and no matter how tightly it was turned off, the water kept dripping. Both bedside lights were not working. The TV controller didn't work, and the reception staff replaced it. When I reported the above-mentioned issues, I was told the maintenance staff were aware of the leaking tap and broken bedside lights and would repair them after the weekend, during my stay. However, these simple repairs never happened during my stay. The hotel room I stayed in was not fit for the purpose, and I feel I'm entitled to some refund.

Clean room, great Breakfast, good bar Friendly staff, and a great location. We enjoyed our stay.

Only issue was the spa being worked on the Monday morning we were leaving so we couldn’t use it and there was no prior warning to that happening
