We arranged a fun day trip to Ilha Grande with Angra Passeios with pickup from the villa dock -- if swells are 3+ feet, ask for a stop at Praia do Pouso and it's a moderate half hour hike to lovely Lopes Mendes Beach. With calm seas you can add Aventureiro Beach on the south side. Tip: after entering the security entrance, bear left at the first fork in the road."

"The house is beautiful and Roberto was an amazing host! The pool was amazing and warm with a gorgeous view of the ocean and mountains from the deck. The beds were comfortable and the house was large and very clean. We had a couple of minor issues that we did NOT complain about to Roberto because they didn't effect our stay. But, the house was very warm during the day. There is only AC in the bedrooms. However, we didn't spend a lot of time IN the house. We were out on the deck and in the pool....
