We are doing friends reunions (35 people including kids) for years now and everyone thought that this was best place so far. It's a really nice house for kids and loads of rooms. There is great stuff in the vicinity - the monastery, castle ruins, draisine - both for adults and kids :) We had a great time for two nights with the kids mainly playing outside on the large property and the adults enjoying the nice terace and barbeque. Additional bonus was the possibility to stay until afternoon on the day of leave. The landlords were super nice to us. When we wanted to leave we had a car break down and we had to stay and wait for the service for several hours. They stayed the whole time with us, tried to restart the car with their jumper cable, and offered for us to stay another night in the house because of our small kids. Really super nice and warm people!

We huurden de molen voor een weekendje weg en het was absoluut charmant. De inrichting heeft een rustieke sfeer en de grote eettafel was perfect voor onze familiediners. Het enige nadeel was dat we een paar extra handdoeken hadden kunnen gebruiken, maar over het algemeen was het een geweldige ervaring in een prachtige omgeving.

We verbleven onlangs in deze charmante molen nabij Maredsous, en het was een geweldige ervaring! Het huis is ruim en perfect voor grote familiebijeenkomsten, Onze kinderen hielden van de speelkamer, en de omheinde tuin was ideaal voor onze hond om vrij rond te rennen, De locatie is fantastisch, met prachtige boswandelingen op een korte loopafstand, We genoten ook van enkele heerlijke maaltijden in de nabijgelegen restaurants, De gastheren waren ongelooflijk gastvrij en lieten ons ons meteen thuis voelen, Sterk aanbevolen voor iedereen die op zoek is naar een leuk gezinsuitje!

De molen heeft een bijzondere indeling, maar als je er even aan gewend bent is het toch een fijne plek om te zijn. Veel ruimtes, veel kamers en allemaal met een prima badkamer die er aan vast zit of die dichtbij is. Douches zijn een beetje vreemd, maar er zit kracht genoeg achter. Er zitten nog blaren op de rug ) De tuin is ook prima toeven. Er loopt wel een weg langs, maar die is zeker niet druk. Het grote minpunt was echter de borg. Als eerst bleek de borg niet voldoende te zijn om ook maar de elektra te betalen, laat staan vuilnis, lakenpakketten, etc. Dus er moest borg bij gehaald worden. Het terug krijgen was daarna ook nog een heel gedoe. Erg onhandig dus en wel degelijk een smet op een verder prima vakantie!

We zijn netjes ontvangen door Claude en heeft alle kamers laten zien. Het is een fantastisch groot huis met een grote tuin. De kamers zijn prima, maar het zijn allemaal losse bedden. De kamer voor de minder valide is perfect!
