About this property

Rest, Relax and Renew. Our log cabin experience awaits your arrival.

  • The Goddard Place is located 5 miles East of Anna off of Route 146. We only have one cabin. You will not be sharing the property with other renters. It is close to Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, the Southern Illinois Wine Trail, the City of Marion, and the Shawnee National Forest. Your cabin features a living area with a sleeper sofa (for the young ones in the family), a recliner, a 32' flat screen television with DirecTV and a DVD player. The kitchenette includes a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, dishes, glassware and silverware. The queen sleigh bed, jacuzzi tub and lavatory complete the room. There is a shower and plenty of towels are provided. All you need to bring is your provisions!!

A Very Special Birthday Stay!

We had a fantastic couple nights' stay at this very cozy log cabin! The owner helped make things even more special by helping me have flowers there when we arrived for my wife's birthday. The area around the cabin was very lovely and we even got to do alittle fishing during our stay. We highly recommend this place and we will definitely make a return visit!

The Goddard cabin

My husband and I were very impressed! The cabin was very relaxing and cute. The sleigh bed was so comfortable. We reall enjoyed the jetted bath tub.
