The Palm Leaf

The house was very clean and very well appointed for 6 people. There was plenty of room to relax and enjoy the property. The kitchen has most things you would need for cooking. The pool area is fantastic and especially well suited for children as their is a shallow area with just several inches of water for splashing around. The pool furniture is very comfortable. We spent mornings at the pool at walked to beach for the afternoons. Issues that we encountered: We paid the additional fee to heat the pool and the temperature was too hot. The management service came out the next day and indicated that the heater was functioning at "spa temperature" so they turned off the heater but it took about 2 days to return to a temperature that was refreshing and not too hot for swimming. The management company indicated that they would have to work with the owner to determine if there would be a refund or pro-rating of the fee to heat the pool. The propane tank on the grill ran out while we were cooking dinner for 6 people. We contacted the management company and they indicated that they could replace the tank the next day. The main bathroom does not have any towel bars or hooks which is a minor inconvenience but could be improved for a property hosting 6 guests. We did encounter two Palmetto bugs in the house on different days (one in the living room and one in the kitchen). I do not know if this is to be expected in Florida but it was alarming to me.

Perfect rental

We loved everything about our stay here. Great location, close to great beaches, shops, and food. The house was beautifully decorated and very clean and had everything we needed. The pool was amazing. Would definitely stay here again.
