Adorable property and very quaint. Understandable may be hard to find staff off-season, but your front desk staff could use some coaching. She was not very friendly and did not tell me about any of the amenities. As a traveler who was so happy to finally get to the property after a long day of travel and meetings, some welcoming should be consistent. I did call later that night after forgetting the door code and the person who helped me (different person) was so friendly and accommodating.

Smooth check in and very clean. The only downside I’d point out is that a few of the rooms have doors with gaps in the frame which can be a privacy concern. Thankfully, we were able to look at some other rooms and switch but it’s something to be mindful of if say they happened to be fully booked.

It was an amazing romantic stay! However, there was a wedding on the property during our stay which we were not informed of in advance. There were reports from staff that we would need to exit the pool and outside amenities before the wedding started at 5 pm. This was disappointing given we were not told this until check-in. Overall, great stay! The Bartenders were wonderful!

Lovely get away.

This is a really special property. A girlfriend and I got away for a night without the kids and found the historic property and the sprawling estate where it sits to be a perfect escape. The service was very friendly and attentive, the rooms lovely, the bar open at 12pm, and dinner delicious. We’ll definitely be back.
