The location is fantastic—right between Little Italy and Chinatown—so there’s lots of amazing food around, and it’s less than a 10-minute walk to the subway. The area felt safe and mostly quiet. We did have a street-facing room at first, which had a bit of night-time noise, but when we switched to a courtyard-facing room, it was wonderfully peaceful.
The room itself was actually a bit bigger than we expected—not overly spacious, but definitely a decent size and comfortable for our stay. The bed was quite comfortable as well, which made it easy to relax after a long day.
The staff were very friendly and made our stay really enjoyable.
The only minor complaint is that each booking came with just two complimentary bottles of water. If you need more on the following nights, there’s an extra charge, which felt a bit surprising given the room price. But overall, that’s a small detail in an otherwise great stay. We’d definitely come back!

Should have trusted my gut to see reviews first. For a hotel with some status. $1k a night that doesn’t provide a kettle, coffee machine, bath room slippers. Has to be requested for. (And was told subject to availability and was lucky to have gotten it from the housekeeping staff) seriously? Friends also stayed in the suite, SUBPAR standard service etc for $2k a night. They are members and will have more to review.
Front service staff for checking in. Wow..leaves much to be desired. Make staff were just cordial and dead pan. Been to so many hotels and the price? This is really disappointing. Even a $200:night hotel at indigo NY gave better service and had EVERYTHING.
Saving grace? The Porters and doormen were exceptional along with the Housekeeping staff. THEY were the ones that gave 10/10 service.
