Very clean room and property! Loved the dynamic and love how dependable the Moxy brand is as a hotel! With that said, lack of additional amenities and marginal room amenities is what makes me think the hotel is short of a 4 star rating. Very solid, lovely, clean and dependable 3 for sure!

Area by the hotel has restaurants and stuff to do, but is a bit of a walk to get to downtown. Parking is not onsite but is close by and easy to access. If you arrive via car, checking in is a bit tricky because you require a QR code to access the parkade, but you have to register online to get that, which you only get when speaking to hotel. Definitely suggest contacting hotel before arrival so you can register for parking, then park and bring luggage to hotel. Otherwise parking car somewhere while you checkin can be a bit challenging. Hotel lobby/bar area is very nice, welcome drink is delicious! They provide a nice place to hang out, both inside and outside. Staff were great. We did not do the breakfast here, but did at a different Moxy, so if they're the same it's a great one. Overall, would recommend.

The hotel is located conveniently, but I was dissatisfied with customer care. 1. The hotel still has a reservation fee locked on my credit card. I paid for my stay upon arrival, which is about 1.5 week ago, and checked out about a week ago. Why has the reservation fee not been lifted? And why does Moxy not communicate anything to their guests? 2. I paid for breakfast buffet while at the hotel to find that several breakfast items were no longer available due to the time of day. They did not wanna restock these items even though I had already paid. 3. I had left my earplugs on the bedside table. When cleaning, my guess is the housekeeper accidentally knocked the table, and vacuumed my earplugs. They were gone from my room upon my return. I made the front desk aware, who promised to look into the matter. They never followed up with me. 4. Finally. I had placed our towels on the floor for housekeeping to provide new ones. Upon my arrival back at the hotel, there were no new towels. Called front desk to request new towels, which would be sent up. Great. An hour later, still no towels. I call again. Front desk promises to send towels. Ask how many we are. I say two ppl, and state that we just need big towels for showering. Few mins later a staffer arrives with three hand towels. We make due. Not the level of service I expect tbh. Had to buy new earplugs - these were not just reg earplugs but custom made for my ears which are smaller than others.

My husband went last weekend for a business trip. He came back and mentioned that it's a new hotel, look nice and clean. He had an early flight so as soon as he check in, he thought to take a good rest before going out for meeting. The head lamp is facing the bed which is quite bright to him so he tried to switch it off. And here the power tripped happened to his room. He called the reception to check. Reception mentioned that it was power tripped. My husband request for a room change, but reception refuse to change the room and insist that everything is working fine now. So he didn't sleep well for the stay, imagine if it's happened to anyone. You just don't feel safe or secure. Other than that, everything is great in the hotel.

Bij aankomst was er keiharde muziek en zat het hotel vol met fetish feest mensen. Had wel heel prettig geweest als dit bij de boeking vermeld werd. Het was extreem luide muziek en zelfs bij het inchecken moest je schreeuwen om iemand te kunnen horen en ergens was het onprettig want op meerdere kamers op de gang was het een drukke bedoening.. Nogmaals leef en laten leven maar het had echt gemeld moeten worden bij het boeken. Ik was daar voor zakelijke doeleinden en dan is dit niet fijn. Personeel van receptie/nachtreceptie was wel zeer vriendelijk.
