Great hotel, would recommend!
The hotel was beautiful. Convenient to most major places. The shower did leak into the bathroom which was fine as it was all tile, just messy. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The room was ready before check in time and they will hold your bags for you prior to or after check out.

The hotel was vegan. There was limited space in the bedroom, about 30 cm between the end of the bed and wall. This was in a king sized room.

Great stay. Didn't use the gym or dine in the hotel. Very close to Grote Market. I'd stay there again. The room was fine - a king bed, great bathroom. Room 223 - not a great view from the window.

Very beautiful building, clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and their dining is focused on plant based sustainability - we are not huge vegetarians, but must say the food was exceptional. Parking was very confusing, but manageable.

hotel, room, and staff was amazing. Service was above average, and staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Nice plant based breakfast, but you can order meat if you desire. Special thanks to bar tenders; you made us feel at home. If we're back in Antwerp, we'll stay here again for sure..

Overall the property was excellent. Parking is too expensive and the plant-based restaurant was not very good. The room was very clean, the staff were excellent and welcoming. Great hotel.

Be aware for the following: avoid room 14 - as thus room is located next to the kitchen/preparation area, its a vegetarian hotel - so good luck finding any other food. Best is to eat outside, also service is so so...you have to look for people. However its very peaceful and has a classy atmosphere. We were really unhappy with the lack of non-vegan food options incl the lack of variatity of knick knacks at the at the bar...after 2 peanuts you dont want to eat more. We decided to make this our hotel of choice, but will remain frustrated with the lack of food options. Note that beers are being poured in normal glasses and for an ex-Belgian (left 35 years ago) that felt like a sin...they are missing some of the belgian touches that we are known for.

Althgouh the room and the bathroom were nice , the smells from the drains in the bathroom were not good . Maintenance tried to sort this the first night but we had to move to another room for the last night as they were again pervasive. Otherwise good location

Most of the rooms have no view. The King room has a wall in front of the window. The room is very warm and you can’t regulate the temperature yourself. The manager assistant claimed you can but 2 people in the reception confirmed there is a central regulation only and you need to ask. We asked twice to lower temperature from 23 to at least 21 but no luck. The windows only tilt so no fresh air. No available information in the room on how to contact reception. No number on the phone or anywhere.when we asked someone said 1 and the other receptionist said 9. There is. nobody to help with suitcases.

During checkin we were not assigned the type of room that We reserved. We had to wait two hours to be assigned to the right room; just to realize that we got a worst room—ground floor and foul sewer odor coming and leaving. That’s too much ordeal for a guest. Online photographs look great. Room was nothing special, standard room, standard layout, looked like many hotels I've stayed in. Sheets not tucked in properly, found a pubic hair on my pillow. Bathroom was lovely and the one my friend is having installed so really good for her to see that. We went to the bar in the evening as it was raining and we didn't want to venture out, service was extremely slow and at one point with 2 bar staff and approx 8-10 customers we waited 20 minutes for a beer and a wine before I had to go and ask, I brought this to their attention and asked for the drinks to be taken off the bill as I'd expect much better from a 5* establishment and the response was 'noted', that was all that was said 'noted'. When we went to pay we were given various excuses such as 'we only have 2 staff on', 'there was a spilt drink', definitely not good service. Plant based breakfast was okay, however the man on the next table had bacon which wasn't on the menu, it would have been nice to know this was an option and then a part of our order didn't turn up, by this point we couldn't be bothered to chase and just left the hotel. We travel a lot and have stayed in much better 3/4* hotels for a less than half of the price. This was meant to be a treat but there was nothing special about it. Overall, not impressive for 5*, save your money and stay somewhere else!

Les photos de la catégorie de la chambre ne correspondaient pas tout à fait à la réalité. Les exemples montraient de grandes fenêtres, des chambres lumineuses. Le personnel a gentiment accepté de me proposer une seconde chambre car la première n’avait qu’un petit velux. Même cette seconde chambre n’avait qu’une fenêtre en hauteur. C’était un peu décevant.
