Poor Service
I booked only because it said "Parking Available", When I arrived, there was no parking available. I spent 30 minutes looking for on street parking. When I told the person on duty that I was not happy he said "so, do you want to cancel?" I pointed out that it was midnight and not the answer I expected. He said "unfortunately for you, I am the night supervisor". There was no apology, not even offer of a cup of coffee. His nonchalant attitude was worse than the fact that I paid for something which I did not receive. The room was big, and clean. Shower worked fine. The carpet has seen better days, but it was just for one night. No coffee/tea facilities in the rooms. The night supervisor's rudeness aside, it was OK for a very short stay.

Old stained carpets, torn curtains , this facility was really good once upon a time. From a 4 star hotel it is now a 1 (one) star hotel.

This property is a total scam. In pictures it looks nice but once that you are in, it’s a total different hotel. The hallways are painted dark and the paint is already chipping. The room had a red carpet that looks like it wasn’t cleaned at all, also there are like 3 lights in the bedroom and no ceiling light. Finally the tv did not work and they couldn’t do anything because there wasn’t a technician on site. Stay away from this hotel

There was noise next door to me from 115 am-430 am , they didn’t stop talking loud laughing, going in and out . The front desk couldn’t do anything about it

The room was not so warm, by leaving did you have breakfast? No breakfast sure ? You dit not have breakfast? No no breakfast? O ok you are sure. Strange they did not believe me?

Hotel staff are nice but the room is damaged and old, the bathrooms are horrible to use and the heating seems to just be stuck on so the room is boiling.

Two Night Stay
Hotel beyond Reception was tired looking but perfectly adequate for my needs. The staff were very friendly. and helpful but unfortunately, I left my phone charger and adaptor in the room. My emails on the subject were totally ignored and when I telephoned I was advised that "nothing had been found". I read the same story on another blog so sadly, this kind of thing leaves a bad after taste.

Nightmare
Itwaspretty disapointing as the pictures they have on the advertisments are quiet far from the reality. The hotel has a huge lack of mainteinance and definitely not clean at all. I t was a nightmare as we even found blood stains on the matress.

Overall, pretty good.
Nice room and helpful staff. Like the medieval portrait decorations. Poor noise insulation, both facing road and between rooms. Breakfast decent but a little expensive for what it was. Strong offerings at the bar.

In the hub of it all. Clean
Great little place in the hub of everything. A bit small but we were happy to have our own bathroom . The desk clerks were great with offering great pubs and restaurants near by. Would stay here again

Staff very friendly and helpful BUT toilet door had no lock and opened outwards so couldn't shut door. To be fair I didn't complain as was only there for 2 nights. Great location. Would stay again

Hot room.
Great restaurants behind the hotel. Weather was good. Had a lovely time but hotel room was boiling. Couldn't get AC to cool. Apparently they only set it to cool on the summer but it was technically winter however the weather was room. Room heat was unbearable.
