Beds are comfortable and room is spacious. Very family friendly. Tiny flaw that can't be helped is shower and toilet are a bit outdated. Cleaners still do a great job maintaining cleanliness daily. Reception & kitchen staff were great & always on hand to help when needed.

Hotel staff, specially Housekeeping, maintenance, waiters and Frontoffice were always very kind, helpfully. Breakfast: fresh fruit from the garden - but everyday the same (Papaya). For the "muesli" only "Weetaix" - no other grains for a change available - Hotel was full because of young Rugbyplayers from Japan, Fidji participating a tournament. When they are in/at the small pool, there's hardly any space left for "regular" hotelguests. As there is no shower available at the pool, I think the quality of the water after their swimming and playing just after their trainingroutines was no longer good. They also occupy the usually for breakfast intended room - so we had breakfast at the bar. Singing their "Haka" motivations-songs at 06am woke us up several days within a 7-days wasn't a recreation holidayexperience.

Tanoa has really upgraded within a year & since Covid. Staff are lovely, breakfast is AMAZING with a cook who is there to make fresh eggs or omelettes. Their menu changes daily. My favourite was koko esi. We didn’t need to leave the hotel as the pool is available, aircon is really good & restaurant is open til 10:30pm. I have stayed at many hotels in Samoa & I can honestly say Tanoa is number 1 across all accomodation options in Samoa. I look forward to returning. The staff here are amazing & feel so much love for them because of their hospitality. 10/10 for us (family of 4-2 adults & 2 children)

The staff at the Tanoa were amazing. They were professional, friendly and always available to answer our questions without frustration. The only feedback I would provide is for the towels in the room as these were minimal for a room of 4 people.

The hospitality was nice especially the complimentary breakfast. Sadly, our shower was not cleaned upon our arrival and there were cockroaches in the bathroom and around the dining table.

Very friendly and accommodating check in staff, Sunday 12th Nov. He made the effort to get us into a room earlier than the standard time and organised for our laundry to get done (for a fee of course). The next morning (13th Nov), i was met with some unexpected and unwanted guests in our bathroom. I phoned reception to ask for fly spray to get rid of the cockroaches but got told they had none. No effort was made to address the issue which was really disappointing. There were no face cloths or a toilet brush in our room (324). Air con units need replacing...not cool enough. Also, be sure to take your insect repellent when having breakfast here as the restaurant is not indoors and there are alot of mosquitos there. On a good note, the beds are comfortable, room service was reliable, bathroom spacious, fridge is very cold and the tv works and has screen mirroring.

My stay at Tanoa was great just a few things they need to work on. The sink in the room need fixing, takes a long time for the water to drain and the refrigerator freezes all the food inside even if you turn it down to the lowest temperature. Other than that everything is great.
