This spacious, sunny, well-furnished 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is just 3 blocks from the beach gate access for beautiful Seacliff State Beach. This home is located in the picturesque Seacliff neighborhood, which is a quiet and charming, beachy community that is perfect for families who want to be close to the beach, but don't want all the traffic and noise of other neighborhoods. The fully furnished home boasts a large deck off the kitchen perfect for barbecuing, relaxing and enjoying the ocean views with friends and family.

Conveniently located near a well-known deli (Pixie Deli), coffee shop, convenience store and high-end restaurant (Café Rio). You are also within 2 miles from grocery stores, shops, restaurants, gas stations, golf course, dog park, tennis court, and much more!

  • Nice, long hike today. Went down the Bridge Creek Trail, and then to Maple Falls. About an 8-mile total hike. Redwoods everywhere you look, and a deep dark forest that gave lots of 'mood'. We came across a tiny snake! It was just a few inches long, red back, sunning itself on a rock in the middle of the creek.

The host was quick to respond and helpful. Their attention to our heating inquiry was quick and resolved. The location of the property was wonderful; it fit our needs perfectly. Walked to the beach often and walked for breakfast and ice cream. The accommodations were clean and well supplied. Many thanks.

Nice place, clean, well located. Master bedroom was great, roomy, and that bath was nice. The 2nd full bedroom was also roomy. Both were great for adults. The bunk bedroom was so-so for two adults but perfect for two kids. The upstairs kitchen had plenty counter space. The Dining area was great for 8! The couch/chair area was great for hanging out. The deck was huge and also had a nice sunny day bed and round table seating for outdoor dinner. The hood was nice and neighbors were friendly. The location was quite convenient, just about a 1/3 mile walk down to Seacliff St Beach. The shops at the four corners State Park Dr & Center were super. The Snow White, Marianne's Ice Cream!!, Manuel's Mexican had some great grub and their Top Shelf Margs were tasty! Bailey's Property Mgmt were excellent to work with. Aptos was super nice and we will return.

To our surprise it did not look like it showed on the pictures. The bed topper was stained and worn. There were ants in both bathrooms on the first floor and the bedrooms. Our son was taking a shower and we heard a noise coming from the garage and it was the water heater, it sounded like it was going to explode . The garage had paints cans and miscellaneous “items just laying around. The garbage can was full to the point we brought our trash home. The back yard just basically dirt and weeds. There was no contact from the property management on a daily bases as stated. The dish washer needs some help. The barbecue was dirty to the point that we did not use it and falling apart. In our opinion there should be a TV upstairs. For the price we expect more. The amenities is the garage are old and dirty.

Detractors from our stay were, no blanket or pillow cases for the hide a bed, Sunday morning at 8:30am workers started removing and installing sections of the fence attached to the house. No communication from owners or rental managers about this

Charming Sunny Home

We had a great stay. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking - every pot, pan and utensil you might need. The sunny, bright kitchen and living room are upstairs and three bedrooms downstairs. Very close to the steps to the beach and we enjoyed long walks. Great location. When emailing ahead of time the property management was very responsive. We’d stay again!!

Week by the beach

Nice enough. Upstairs deck with a view of the ocean. Confusing check-in process (management company emailed instructions 3 months before our stay, right after first payment - challenging to figure out how to get the key.) Kitchen was sufficient, beds ok. Nice the nicest place we’ve ever stayed at but was the right price point for a 7-day stay in the Santa Cruz area. Neighborhood & local shops were fantastic!

Wonderful trip

This home is so cute and located in a really quaint and conveniently located neighborhood. The only few things that I would have liked to be aware of in advance is that there is only one TV, not a big deal to me, but my husband does enjoy some TV in the evening. The other thing, is the WiFi was really weak, I did have to work a little bit on this trip, which was a little harder without good internet access. Overall this was a lovely trip and getaway spot, would 100 percent recommend.

A++++ PERFECT BEACH GETAWAY!!!

This house was beautiful & SO full of sunlight streaming through the windows & all the rooms including bathrooms, were sparkling clean! This house is WELL taken care of & it shows! We loved all the bedrooms downstairs & having the "tv room" with a cozy & comfy couch with the gas fireplace turned on, watching the playoffs was wonderful & so relaxing! They supplied everything one would need for a getaway & we will DEFINITELY be returning!!

Perfect Staycation!

The stay was what we all needed after working and dealing with stress in our lives. Listening to the ocean while at the house, enjoying the ocean breeze, and the peaceful neighborhood was perfect. The walk to the beach is close and easy, I have two little ones that did the stairs after being at the beach all day and didn't complain about how much further so I know it is not that bad, lol. All in all, it was a great trip and thank you very much.

So many rules! Almost ruined the stay

Close to the beach and loved hearing the sounds of the waves. House had a casual and comfortable vibe. Aptos is a peaceful, sleepy town and my adult daughters and I enjoyed the getaway weekend. On the negative side, the check in/out process was not simple. A lengthy contract with multiple reminders that “CHECK OUT IS10:00! NO EXCEPTIONS!” I get it, but I did NOT need a phone reminder the day before we left (two night stay) that CHECKOUT IS 10:00 AND NO EXCEPTIONS!

Not the best experience

We arrived around 4:00 pm to the rental company after a very long day of traveling from the East coast. We were checked in and given the keys. When we arrived at the house, there were dirty towels in piles and the beds were unmade. Obviously the house hadn’t been cleaned from prior tenants (so gross). We called the management company and they said they would send over the cleaning crew and that we should go to a bar or for a couple hours. This greatly inconvenienced our family because we had dinner plans that evening and needed to freshen up before. We ended up sitting in the car for nearly 2 hours until the house was cleaned. The next day a woman from another rental company showed up and said she was there to inspect the property for her clients who were due to arrive the following weekend (we did not let her in). The property served the purpose as we had a place to stay. Unfortunately our experience with the rental company etc was not great.

Good on short notice

Needs a good cleaning and some minor repairs. The neighbor is super quiet. The beach is a few minutes to walk to. Elderly individuals may have problems walking to/from the beach because of the stairs. The location is between Monterey and Santa Cruz.
