“I booked well in advance and was able to get a twin room with balcony for single use at a very good price. The view from the balcony was NOT picturesque, however it faced a side street it was very quiet. I understand that rooms without balconies face the main road and traffic noise can be a concern. There was no balcony furniture, so I couldn’t really sit out there unless I pulled the sizeable desk chair out. The room was a good size and didn’t feel claustrophobic at all. The bathroom was……

“This is a lovely place for a stay by the coast 30/40 km north of Porto. The house is ideal for a holiday - well equipped, clean and with a pool - the sea was fairly cold so having a pool was a 'must' especially if you have children.
