「Staff were very friendly, place was clean, and the pool was great. My only down would be the air conditioning in the rooms was not very good. They didn't ever cool down and it was too warm for a good night's sleep.」

「The room seem to be hurriedly cleaned if you can call it cleaned. The coffee maker still had the coffee filter from the last guest in the coffee maker. There was only one paper cup in the room for 2 guests. The bathtub was so stained it looked like it had not been cleaned. The toilet needed to be worked on as you had to flush twice to get it to flush. The refrigerator needed to be defrosted as the freezer part was almost full of ice and looked as it had not been wiped out in sometime. The...

「This is a beautiful, historic property with lots of little extras. It's very conveninent to downtown. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It's also a great value for the price.」

「Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows.
