Cute & quiet, close to shops and a local redwood park

comfortable and quiet space, nicely decorated and just the right amount of kitchen items for cooking. Julia was very a responsive host, but also respectful of my preference for solitude. Close to shops and within walking distance of a lovely redwood park.

Nice place to stay

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon as we made our way down California. The garden was beautiful, the size was bigger than I expected, and the kitchen was awesome. The only thing I would improve was the bathroom. There wasn’t spare toilet paper and there weren’t many towels. Great stay!

We needed a quiet place to sleep after working on a relative's house in the area. I slept so well, that I thought I was in my own bed when I awoke in the night. Thank you!

Clean and comfy

This property was clean and comfortable. It is in a neighborhood and We did have some difficulty locating the house as it was dark and the numbers were not lit up. The owner was quick to respond and help us out.

Pleasant guest house in good location

Julia's guest house, which is attached to the owner's actual home, was a very pleasant place to stay especially for someone traveling alone. It was very comfortable and felt very safe. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, off the beaten path but close to everything. Bed was comfortable, shower and hot water were good, kitchenette was cute and did the trick (be sure to note, coffee maker is French press and no microwave, for those who cook almost exclusively with those two appliances.) Most importantly, Host was very attentive and responsive. Nice place!

Very quiet neighborhood; lovely garden outside unit; hosts cordial, helpful and totally non-intrusive; very clean and tidy unit; comfy bed; kitchen supplied dishes, utensils, a French press for coffee, gas stove and whistling teakettle. Refrigerator kept things cold and was a decent size to fit everything we brought with us. This is a very nice place to stay.
