New Englanders

We had a great stay. The furnace was broken so I did expect a reduction in the fee which I did not receive but they did provide wood and space heaters. Clean and beautiful house. Walk to the beach.

Thoughtfully designed, constructed, and equipped house in the woods

This is a fairly elegant house in a second growth forest stand, surprisingly quiet given the highway’s proximity and very pleasant to stay in. Generous spaces for socializing, terrific—and extremely well-equipped—kitchen and pantry, all rooms and halls extravagantly finished with natural wood, beds extremely comfortable. The wi-fi needs an upgrade but is workable. Very nice outdoor seating and a sweet upstairs balcony with a peek at the ocean. Some new construction on nearby lots but still a sense of privacy.

NEGATIVE - Stay was fine. Frustrated on bathroom situation. It doesn’t state, in VRBO listing, that the master is also the guest bathroom. If I knew this, I wouldn’t have booked this house. Stove overcooked food, even set at the lowest setting. Pans in kitchen are terrible.Outside fire pit bench was broken. Window curtains looked like someone cut old stained linens.The painting in house were unique/creepy.POSITIVE - Enough room/space in house, fire pit and quiet.If we traveled back to Arch Cape, we would not stay here again.
