“La habitación estuvo limpia, la TV estaba dañada, el agua caliente de la ducha no estuvo muy caliente, la puerta del baño no cerraba fácilmente, había un olor un poco feo en la habitación y creó que por eso estaba la ventana abierta cuando entramos por primera vez a la habitación, el desayuno estuvo bueno, el personal atento y el parqueadero es en el hotel y es seguro.”

“Lovely place to stay and lots of activities. It’s a bit pricey but our guide Miguel was very knowledgeable. ”

“Where do I start.... the hotel is located in the jungle and the approach to it is a little amusing as you have to drive over a very colourful single lane suspension on route. And then you are travelling along a dirt road that makes your thoughts start to question your judgement but then..... the hotel appears as a gem set within the folds of the surrounding jungle. “Amazing history, everywhere you walk. Smelt good despite everything being old so appreciated! Not really established as a hotel though more a monastery maybe. Place was cold. Had to ask for fireplace to be made up. No heating anywhere else in the hotel. No ambiance, dead quiet everywhere. One friendly receptionist / manager, everyone else seemed impossible to get hold of. Food arrived cold, which given the place was cold I guess it wad standard. Some of the food on the menu that they did have,……

“Loved Hacienda! A beautiful stay only 15 mins from the airport but felt like you were surrounded by pure nature in a different world than the city of Quito. The walk on the trails is stunning, and the history is fascinating to learn how the owners discovered the tunnels on site and the Incan history connected to it. Oscar is so knowledgeable on the history! Beautiful rooms, amazing food, the grounds are so peaceful it’s hard to think you are in Quito, lots of wild coloured birds, so many……

“The staff were all really friendly. The pool and hot tub were well kept and were so relaxing. The food was delicious and the property was beautiful. This was the perfect relaxing getaway my friends and I needed.”

“This was our most memorable stay during our 2 months in Ecuador! Exceptional value for money. Outstanding staff and customer service! The views are beautiful and the cabins very comfortable, with hot showers and extra blankets for chilly nights. Every cabin has a nice balcony with hammock chairs and a fold-down table. They have a great viewing platform for all sorts of hummingbirds, and a cool light-trap near a hide for watching birds eating bugs for breakfast. Wifi is excellent (we had to have……
