「We had a small little bachelorette weekend to celebrate our best friend’s wedding in September. It was just three of us and this cabin was so perfect!! The host, area, property, and views were so lovely. We loved the hot tub and the friendly host dog Chase!! We can’t wait to come back again!!」

「This cottage is the kind of place that makes you want to stay and go nowhere and just enjoy the views, morning coffee in the the glassed in and air conditioned porch, or relaxing in a chair on the dock watching the turtles and fish. Same can be said for enjoying a beverage in the evening while grilling out.Going for walks and having fun riding the paddle boat also recommended. Loved it and will definitely be staying again in the future.」

「We had an incredible time on lake Mattoon. My 18 year old son was shocked at how cool the place was and layed out. Lakeside in a clean well funished home. I can't say enough of how great the stay was. We will be back! 」

「The only instruction to pick up the key was to pick it up at the office, and if there was any trouble after hours, to call the maintenance man. I arrived at 11pm due to traffic delays, and the office was locked with no instruction on how to get the key. I made several calls and texts each to the host and the maintenance man. 30 minutes later, the host texted back saying the maintenence man was asleep, and she apologized for my inconvenience. 「This little cabin by the river was such a nice place to unwind and explore all that the Willenborg Woods have to offer. The trails are clearly marked and take you through a variety of views. The hosts were responsive and helpful during the entire stay, with the highlight being a morning basket of farm fresh eggs, hot coffee, and a warm, delicious pastry. We could not recommend this rental enough!」
