"Beautiful area, of course we're in Austria! Traffic through the Fernepass was atrocious, which is right near Obsteig. Construction was in process across the road from hotel and the trucks that traveled the road all night that our room overlooked were very loud. No A/C so leaving windows open was a must. "We stayed here for two nights on our way to Italy, and it was such a great find! The apartment was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed. It’s on the top floor of a small guesthouse on a farm, with beautiful views all around. We slept really well! We also went on a nice hike right from the property — through the forest and along the mountainside to Lake Piburg. It was a bit challenging, but perfect for families. The host was very welcoming. The only thing we’d suggest is adding a simple curtain to the clear-glass door for a bit more privacy."
