Rural setting

Pastoral farm setting for relaxing vacation. Comfortable bed, spacious seating both inside and outside. Great walking trail along Le Petit Rhone. Gracious hosts.

Friendly, helpful host

Welcomed by host, dog, cat, the chickens… Spotless cottage. Spacious, well equipped kitchen with some basics (spices, herbs) and a decent bottle of rosé. Host provided maps, suggested excursions.

Osterferien in Arles 2023

Wir waren 1 Woche in dem wunderbaren Ferienhaus. Es ist sehr großzügig und toll eingerichtet, es hat richtig Spaß gemacht, in der Küche zu werkeln. Auch kann man wegen der Ruhe phantastisch schlafen. Als Ausgangspunkt für unsere Besichtigungen war das Haus optimal, wir haben Arles, Avignon, Aix, Nimes, Marseille sehr rasch erreichen können. C&JP sind so freundlich und zuvorkommend, unbedingt den Wein probieren! Alles in allem ein gelungener, perfekter, viel zu kurzer, Urlaub!

Das Häuschen entspricht den Angaben. Freundlicher Empfang, Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Hund, Katzen, Hühner. Daher gibt's es auch frische Eier zu kaufen. Gepflegter Pool.

Bauernhof mit Charme

Wir ( 2 Ehepaare) haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht. Die Wohnung spiegelt den Charme der Provence wieder. Der Pool ist super!!! Das Domizil liegt inmitten von Melonen- und Reisfeldern. Die Fahrt zum Bäcker dauert daher etwas länger, aber das haben wir gerne in Kauf genommen. Und auch die Bauernhoftiere (Hund, Katze und Hühner) haben uns viele Spaß bereitet. Ein rundrum gelungener Urlaub.

Hervorragend ist untertrieben

Bei Cathy und Jean-Pierre passt alles perfekt zusammen. Die Freundlichkeit und Empathie die sie ihren Gästen entgegenbringen sind einzigartig. Lage, Austattung und Umfeld von Mas Medaills ebenso. Es fehlt an nichts, egal ob in der Küche, am Pool oder im Garten. Und der Joggingweg hinter dem Garten lockt jeden Morgen aufs Neue. Erholsamer und entspannter kann man Urlaub kaum verbringen. Als Gast entschleunigt man schon beim Anblick dieser Idylle vor den Toren Arles. Vielen Dank für schöne Tage.

Beau sejour dans magnifique mas

Stunning farm, by the banks of the Petit Rhône , edge of the Camargue, Arles 5 minutes

A convenient base for Arles, Nimes, Avignon, Pont du Gard and Aix en Provence without long tiring drives. The nearby Camargue flamingos were a big hit for wildlife photography. The goose, dog, horse, cats and hens on the small farm were all characters. The kitchen was well equipped, good TV and wifi, and comfortable beds. Intermarché supermarket a very short drive. Nice to have 2 large bedrooms each with shower. Pleasant private place to sit out and easy parking. Besides the marshes, the least touristy and most amazing experiences were the park and roman sites in Nimes, the huge roman boat in the Arles museum and the aigrillade of beef in the St Gilles restaurants. Aigues Mortes is well worth seeing but a bit of a tourist trap - beware expensive access to the walls and extortionate restaurants and cafés. Everybody should see the Pont du Gard once and in Nimes in the northeast corner of the roman city is the cistern and control/distribution where the water entered the city. The Nimes crocodile comes from the Augustan soldiers who settled there having conquered Egypt and the tower at the top of the park evoques the lighthouse of Alexandria. Writing all this we want to go back immediately! Many thanks for a great stay at bargain value.
