This is going to be a long review. I don’t normally do reviews, but because I was the sole decision maker on this particular rental, I decided to do it myself. I wanted to take my wife away for her 68th birthday to somewhere in the mountains above us,(we live in Stockton). I found this place and I kinda knew where it was, but it didn’t have a review. But everything seemed good so I went with it. What a good decision. This place is fabulous. It is obviously a family cabin. The place is huge and easily sleeps 10. This is not a high-end luxury cabin, but it has a fully stocked kitchen, several TV’s, ample high end hotel quality towels, as well as being clean and well-outfitted for electronics (including Google’s Assistant). This is a rustic, homey, cozy, retreat. For what we were looking for, it was perfect. The description of this place in the AirBnB listing doesn’t do it justice. It is well better supplied then the listing indicates and the Nest thermostats work great and keep it snug. GREAT WiFi. Was able to stream all the games from NFL channel via my computer, no problem. Really nice fireplace stove, more of a fireplace. Just a really fabulous place. The look on my wife’s face when I opened the door made it all worthwhile. Easy to get to, I cannot recommend this place enough.
