Fabulous house in a friendly neighbourhood
We had an amazing holiday, the house is very comfortable and well equipped. The children loved the pool and the tennis court. It was great having a private garage. Thank you Jose for welcoming us and fitting WiFi. The local beaches are stunning and there are some great walks in the area.

Perfect family holiday home
Welcomed by the lovely host, José, who told us about the local area and places to visit. The home was superb. Well equipped, (although no kettle), well furnished, and very spacious - perfect for our young family of 5. The garden is ideal, with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. The local goat family are on hand for some laughs too. The apartment area is very quiet and peaceful. The secure garage is a great bonus. We had great fun in the pool, easily big enough for the family to swim, and we enjoyed the tennis court too. Only a 10 minute walk into the beach area, with 3 or 4 local beaches to suit all needs. Good supermarkets near by, many cafes and restaurants, and some lovely artisan shops. Well situated for exploring all of Cantabria's wealth of possibilities. Thank you, José, for sharing your home with us.

Nice and comfortable home within walking distance from beautiful beaches.
We had a lovely stay in the apartment, which is located on the edge of Isla, but well in walking distance of the center and beaches. We enjoyed having breakfast in the small garden as well as dinner- we used the bbq several times. There are also good and affordable options for eating out in Isla We also enjoyed playing padel, the court is a bit worn-down, but still fine to play on. We did not use the swimming pool, but we did observe it was rarely crowded. The sea was just perfect, we mostly went to the largest, most popular (though not very crowded) guarded beach bordering on a bay where the water was shallow and calm, but there are two other beaches that you can walk to from there, which are a bit more rugged with no guards and not crowded at all. There are many excursions you can do from Isla, we recommend visiting Santander, Bilbao and the Cueva El Soplao (caves). José is a very friendly host, he awaited us when we arrived Saturday evening, being very flexible, as we had to adjust our arrival time several times due to traffic. All in all it was a perfect holiday.

Vacances en Cantabrie
Résidence calme et bien située à proximité de la plage. Excellent accueil par José Logement confortable avec un petit jardin très agréable Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans une région qui offre beaucoup de possibilités : mer,montagne ,gastronomie et patrimoine tout ça avec la bonne humeur et la convivialité espagnole.

Parfait !
Propriétaire très agréable et conciliant (je me suis trompée d'endroit de rendez-vous, j'avais mal compris et les propriétaires ont été patients et charmants). La location était très bien équipée, propre et très agréable, et l'emplacement était parfait. Résidence calme et propre, sécurisée, et vraiment à 2 pas des plages et des commerces et restaurants. Je recommande chaleureusement cette location, et serais ravie d'y retourner. Isla Playa est superbe, et ses plages paradisiaques. Simplement parfait, merci.

Schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger und gepflegter Anlage
Wir haben zum zweiten Mal unseren Urlaub hier verbracht, da wir uns hier sehr wohl fühlen. Das Haus hat einen kleinen, von den Nachbargrundstücken mit einer Hecke abgeschirmten Garten, so dass man seine Privatsphäre genießen kann. Es gehört ein Tiefgaragenplatz zum Haus. Alles sehr praktisch und unkompliziert. Auch die Lage ist prima, da man direkt vom Haus aus wandern gehen kann ( Naturschutzgebiet und Wald in direkter Nachbarschaft). Zum Strand läuft man knappe 10 Minuten, 5 Minuten zum nächsten Laden ( Supermarkt, Banken und Metzgerei). Der gesamte kleine Ort ist sehr gepflegt und eignet sich auch zum Essen gehen oder für schöne Spaziergänge auf der Uferpromenade. Der Vermieter Jose ist sehr aufgeschlossen und freundlich und er hat uns sehr gute Tipps für Ausflüge in die nährere und weitere Umgebung sowie für Veranstaltungen gegeben. Auch die Kommunikation mit Ihm ist sehr nett . Wir können dieses Haus nur weiter empfehlen ! Danke Jose für die schöne Zeit !

Cantabrien 2019
Die Wohnung ist exakt wie beschrieben und einfach, aber gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und spricht ganz gut Englisch. Isla ist wirklich eine kleine Perle in Cantabrien. Die Strände dort und vor allem in der Umgebung bis Santander sowie ein paar Kilometer westlich davon wunderschön und immer halb leer. Bis zum nächsten Strand sind es ca. 10 Gehminuten. Mittlerweile gibt es sogar Wlan!

Un appartement bien équipé et fonctionnel à un bemol près, la télé principale qui n'accepte aucun branchement autre que peritel, ni USB, ni HDMI donc adieu smartphones ou consoles récentes. En dehors de ça c'est plutôt agreable et le propriétaire est d'un bon contact. La petite ville est agréable également.

Ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen
Die zwei Wochen in diesem Haus haben wir sehr genossen. Es liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig, um Ausflüge zu machen z.B. nach Santander oder Bilbao. Oder zum Wandern in der näheren Umgebung, wo es sehr schöne Küstenwanderwege gibt. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, gemütlich und im Garten sitzt man sehr windgeschützt und genießt seine Privatsphäre. Wir brauchten nur ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß in den Ort, zum Einkaufen oder zur Bank. Auch der Strand ist fußläufig in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Es war für uns ein perfekter Aufenthalt und wir würden jederzeit wieder hier Urlaub machen. Netter und unkomplizierter Kontakt mit dem Vermieter. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft.
