"I wanted something different than the ordinary. I was struck by the photos and descriptions. Even though a wide angle lens was used, but I knew that. The house was nicely furnished with virtually all one could need in the kitchen. My sister and I are both over 70 and the stairs were a bit challenging as they were steep. The WC is on the bottom floor only so keep that in mind if you have any mobility issues. But that is very clear in the information. Our hostess was very kind and available!!...

"The location to the castle is 2 nd to none. A 5 minute walk is all it takes to be at the castle. We booked for Bastille Day. Spent the day walking around . We had lunch then returned to 514 , showered and changed. Returned to the castle for supper . Watched the fireworks display which was breathtaking. Fantastic location.The room was clean and equipped with fridge, 2 ring hob, microwave, coffee maker ( one pod machine and also a filter machine) Well worth a visit and great value for money."

"Wij reisden met onze oude hond (okt) per auto. Het appartement ligt buiten het oude Carcasonne in een wijk met redelijk wat verkeer en openbaar vervoer vlakbij. Op de hoek (30 m) is een afhaalpunt waar heerlijke pizza's in rap tempo worden klaargemaakt. Het was wel even schrikken dat we met de hond een aantal trappen op moesten naar het appartement maar gelukkig lukte dat. De woning is ruim en goed ingericht. Alles keurig netjes en schoon. "The owner was very accommodating. This is an old property. The rooms are large. There is an art gallery attached to the building and concerts can be held here. We were there in off season. I suspect the town and hotel could be busy in the summerGreat town. Friendly people."
