"Property was neat and clean and recently updated. Breakfast was grab and go and decent. We are not big breakfast eaters so it as fine just for something to hold us over coffee and a quick bite. The room was clean and spacious. One in our party is in a wheelchair and the room was spacious and accessible as promised in room description. Hotel staff was friendly and always present at front desk and even texted to make sure our stay was pleasant. We were close to UVM and attended accepted student day. Close to shopping and restaurants and on main highway but safe and quiet in the evenings. Good parking and well lit area. 10/10 recommend and we already plan to stay here again next time we are in town. "

"This hotel does not have the best reviews online. Nevertheless, our stay was a pleasant one. We visited for the eclipse, so the property was fully booked. They had extra staff and made an effort by handing out goodie bags including eclipse glasses. The room was clean and the staff was helpful. Hopefully, this is a sign that the hotel is turning a corner. "

"We booked 2 nights to view the eclipse lakeside and it did not disappoint! The photos online, although quite beautiful, do not fully capture the beauty of this place. Gorgeous views overlooking the Vermont mountain range and lake Placid. The house is well appointed with everything you need, small exception of the coffee maker. Our guests did feel comfortable with the cleanliness. Suggest maybe an upgrade to a Kureig. Other than that the property is a 10 out of 10. There are two access points to the beach which are indeed private and you will have it all to yourselves. Given the season, the water was high so beach area on both sides is small. Firepit area was wonderful, we loved hanging out by the fire at night watching the sunset. Kitchen allows for cooking for a crowd. The property feels remote but there is plenty of commerce in the area to visit Burlington downtown, grab coffee, items at the general store. We enjoyed burgers at Rozzi’s Lakeside tavern prior to check in. Was allowed to check in early and was notified via text. I did need to check with Vacasa the day before for the check in- keypad codes due to not receiving email. They were very prompt to respond. Overall, lovely home with great views and access to water. Not an issue for our party, just know that stair access to the fire pit and water is steep. Maybe not the best for small children or senior guests"
