On Tuesdays, you can also walk to the weekly market, which takes place around the Placa del Conqueridor, using part of the Via Verde. It starts in Artà and ends in Manacor, the second largest town on the island. Of course, the only thing missing is the beach and the mountains. And that's exactly what you'll find in combination with the gentle hills of the Llevant Mountains at the beautiful bays of Canyamel, Cala Ratjada or secluded natural beaches.
