"We had a great stay here. Very calm area with a mini market nearby (walking distance) for anything you need like snacks or water. We rented a car which we would highly recommend doing, they have a parking lot for the hotel which is nice. The view from our room (we picked one with a sea view) was amazing. "This is my second stay, and the experience is 5-star from start to finish. The rooms are large, clean, and well maintained. The Air Conditioning is on another level, which is such a relief in the summer heat. The pools, both private and communal, are clean and stunning. The breakfast is a delicious spread of both buffet and à la carte. Lastly, the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you feel taken care of. 100% coming back!"

"Very nice clean hotel. Location was perfect for the activities we had arranged. 25 min to airport, and almost the same to go downtown. Little bit noisy in some rooms that face the main street but nothing to worry about. Excellent staff very helpful but a little bit overpriced. Overall is a very good and pleasant place to stay"

"Amazing hotel with incredible staff, amenities, views, and food. Highly recommend and will be returning. The pool and beach were great, the grounds were well maintained, and the attention to detail was perfect. The staff were friendly and accommodating, in particular Peggy who made a lasting impression, she was incredible. Also the staff who served us breakfast and dinner were amazing, their service was impeccable. At the pool bar, Katarina was incredibly sweet and a highlight of our trip. We had a lovely stay, 5 stars for everything!"

"Modern base with great staff, but mixed for families with older kids We spent 8 days here in early August as a family of four. Overall, the hotel offers modern comfort and friendly service, though several aspects could be improved for family stays. Rooms: Modern, spacious, and very accommodating with comfortable beds, great storage, and an excellent shower. Housekeeping was daily and pleasant, though floors needed more thorough hoovering. Nighttime noise was an issue, with younger guests below behaving inappropriately in private swim-up pools. Dining: The restaurant is clean and well laid out with attentive, polite staff. However, the buffet area feels small, food variety is limited, there is no dedicated kids' corner, child-friendly choices are minimal, and the snack bar needs more options. Location & Amenities: Excellent location close to the beach, shops, restaurants, and activities. The pool is nice but lacks waterslides, and there is no entertainment for kids aged 6+. Additionally, while the staff were welcoming, we experienced uncomfortable staring from some Eastern European guests towards our mixed-race family. A solid, clean hotel, but better dining variety, more activities for older children, and less nighttime disruption would improve the family experience."

"Hotel Contessina is brilliant. An oasis of a hotel in what is a bustling resort town. Once inside the doors you could be anywhere in the world. The design of the renovated hotel is brilliant. Modern and sophisticated, and the planting is beautifully done. We enjoyed 2 weeks here, using it as a base to discover the island when we had a car for some of the time. The main pool area is lovely, but be warned, all of the pools are 1.4m deep with no shallow / deep ends."
