Arugam Bay Beach Hotel

"A real gem in Arugam Bay (which is a bit run down). Staff were excellent, the villa was great and the pool very good. Food is a stand out."

"This hotel is miss selling the rooms,the first room was not fit to sleep in and was moved to a new room which was not much better but was clean. The room i booked had cable tv,Wi-Fi and a bath but the room i got had non of these,they did not clean the room while we stayed there but say they do daily cleaning???on a plus point the staff were friendly."

"Air con did not work, several guests had problems with their rooms and changed rooms while we were there. Hotel is difficult to find and location is not correct on the hotel map on Expedia "

"Quoted about $150 on expedia but management wouldn't accept the price and was charged $275. Breakfast was terrible, mainly toast and jam. No clean linen or towels. Wifi hardly worked and in the mornings had to wait to wake up the "chef" to have breakfast. So don't book early morning tours."
