“I was checked in sooner when I arrived I stayed in a mixed bed dorm 4quad no issues, they communicated quickly and the food there was also great. It was quiet, sheets were cleaned and they answered all my questions. Will be back again. ”

“Otoya1907 is the perfect place to stay to see historic San Jose. It is conveniently located, charming, and comfortable. The staff was friendly helpful, and welcoming. He patiently taught me the door codes and keys. The kitchen area is a bonus. The Cafe Otoya is very nice.”

“The hotel is extremely clean and well-maintained with secure parking. The meal we had at the restaurant Azotea was phenomenal. Breakfast was more European-style than typical Costa Rican fare, but generous, delicious, and beautifully prepared. Gracious and attentive staff, we really enjoyed our stay.”

“Yes it was, the staff were exceptional, young man when we were leaving for the airport and needed to find our laundry which should have been delivered by an outside laundry, totally saved us. He called the laundry which was about to close for the day. Offered to go with us in the taxi that he had ordered to assist with dealing with the laundry. We didn’t require that but he already called them to establish our laundry was there. PS if staying at the hotel DO NOT USE Arthur’s laundry service.……
