「Everything is so simple and clean and lovely. The customer service was very impressive as they were just a text away or a phone call if you needed. The free bottle of wine was a really sweet touch and they have water in the room and a few treats as well. There is a TV in a refrigerator very small but it worked for me and there is a very roomy shower. Highly recommend the Russell. This is my second trip out to the Russell.」

「Don’t usually enjoy treating ourselves to a hotel of this caliber and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. Restaurant food was far better than we expected and we enjoyed the roof top bar - especially during the stormy weather. Wish the bar music downstairs foyer was not so loud. We would not and did not enjoy a drink in the downstairs bar as a result. 」

「We arrived about one and a half hours before the 4 pm checkin. Our room was not ready so they said they would contact us when it was. They kept making excuses and finally at 4 pm we asked why we hadn't been notified. They said there was a staff change and basically they forgot us even thought we were sitting right across from the front desk for more than an hour. They just didn't care what to us was a serious miscommunication. This is NOT a 5 star hotel!」
