Great location hotel overlooking the lake

Good location hotel, walkable distance from Ancona old town and lake. Nice pickup and drop of with hotel bus (from and to Locarno train station. Staff was overwhelmed with a series of group booking, confusion was evident but no improvement. My room was a small but with a view, AC not working and none of the staff knew how to fix it. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake and pool was a nice setting but staff again overwhelmed with groups.

Jeder im Team war freundlich, kompetent, professionell, wirklich durchgehend. Die Lage vom "Ascona" ist halt erste Sahne. Wir hatten schönes Wetter entsprechend war die Aussicht grandios. Wir können das Hotel "Ascona" wirklich empfehlen.

Grosse, sehr saubere Zimmer mit Top-Aussicht Bequemes Bett. Grosses Bad mit Doppel-Lavabo. Sehr schöne Einrichtung, tolles Ambiente. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal Der Fitnessbereich auf 15 m2 ist eindeutig zu klein. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist umfangreich und einladend.

Aussicht „Top“, nicht hundefreundlich

Schönes in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal. Leider nicht wirklich eine hundefreundliche Unterkunft: Zwar sind Hunde in der Unterkunft grundsätzlich erlaubt, jedoch nicht im Restaurant – weder beim Frühstück noch beim Abendessen, auch nicht auf der Terrasse. Beim Einchecken fragten wir nach, wo sich unser Hund aufhalten dürfe. Die Antwort lautete: laut Hotelrichtlinie im Grunde nur im Hotelzimmer. Aus unserer Sicht werden Hunde hier lediglich geduldet, aber nicht wirklich willkommen geheißen. Für uns entspricht das nicht dem Anspruch einer hundefreundlichen Unterkunft.

Tolles Hotel !

Tolle Aussicht, schöne Zimmer und wundervolle Badezimmer. Hotel ist nicht sehr neu aber sehr gut unterhalten und sauber. Nichts zu meckern. Frühstücksbuffet ebenfalls sehr ansprechend und die Restaurant-Sitzplätze auf der grossen Terrasse bei schönem Wetter ganz toll! Personal sehr freundlich. Würde sofort wieder hier buchen. Preis-/Leistung stimmt.

Très belle situation avec une vue magnifique sur la ville et le lac et à 10 minutes à pieds du centre de la ville. Très belle piscine. Petit déjeuner buffet avec beaucoup de choix. L’équipement de la chambre single est correct mais très simple en mobilier ce qui est un peu juste pour un 4 étoiles.

Das Hotel Ascona war gesamthaft prima... unser Zimmer sehr geräumig, die Terrasse super. Allerdings die Dusche sehr eng und im Zimmer war immer ein seltsamer Geruch.. Diesen Geruch haben wir nicht weggebracht. Erfreulich war, dass die Küche sich sehr gesteigert hat. Wir hatten ein hervorragendes Abendessen... Das Frühstücksbuffet überzeugt wie in den letzten 15 Jahren!

ich werde nicht mehr in dieses Hotel gehen. Leider bin ich sehr enttäuscht gewesen. es ist nur eine Nacht gewesen und kam von einem super Hotel 3 Sterne. Getränk ist abgelaufen es müffelte komisch im Zimmer dass Hotel ist einfach in die Jahre gekommen. Die Aussicht ist sehr schön.
