This was not a great pick
The bed was awful, very old and squeaky, the radiators were roasting and the dial did not work to adjust it, we asked at reception and were told someone would fix it, we were there 2 days and no one showed up so we slept all night with both windows open and we’re still far to hot, we were also at the front of the hotel so didn’t get much sleep with the noise of the traffic. The room was the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in, you could smell smoke on the hallways so obviously other guests had been smoking. There was a cigarette butt in our bedroom window caught between the window seam. I killed 4 small black bugs in the bathroom.
The staff were friendly enough and the cleaning staff were all good and friendly, the young boys who worked in the bar in the evenings were friendly and chatty. We had breakfast on Easter monday but no breakfast on Easter Tuesday as not enough people staying in the hotel, I thought maybe a continental breakfast would of even been supplied but nothing
Basic and ok if your not to fussy where you sleep
Definitely would not stay again
This hotel could very easily get an extra star if a little work was done to it.
