“We came to Matlock with the kids and grandkids from Canada, to show them their roots! The house was just perfect. A perfect spot for family and friends to visit, and we were within walking distance of shops, pubs, and a park. Daniel was very quick to answer any questions we had. We had an amazing time, and it was hard to leave!”

“I rarely take the opportunity to record my stays but this deserves the time. The communication in advance was clear and very helpful. However, the location after a business day is ideal and so many personal touches, including a welcome label on the door personal to you! “The house is clean and comfortable on the inside. Outside ally that ran alongside the house had big bins which had rubbish overflowing and spreading across the path. Comms with owner none existent other then a couple of automated messages once I had paid. Not enough towels within the property for all guests no hot water for washing up asked for assistance from owner message never acknowledged. Overall happy with the property but little details could improve the stay. Cheap stay for 7 people and……

“I booked this for our engineers and this is their feedback: Unfortunately not suitable for us to stay in, the property was not clean and had lights hanging from the ceilings. Garden not useable. No parking even though it states parking - our staff almost got a parking ticket. We did not stay in the property and drove home instead.”

“Bradwell is a great location for visiting the Peak District: it's close to many of the popular hikes, but it doesn't feel overrun with other tourists. The house was very well set up and comfortable. ”

“Our stay was amazing The Chapel was in a beautiful location, a 2 min walk to the local pub and excellent for walks. Th hosts were very accommodating with a sample of some local treats , wine and beer. We will definitely stay again and would fully recommend ”

“Booked 3 months ago. Money taken. Heard nothing from the host despite several attempts to contact them. Vrbo also attempted. Was cancelled on with 30mins to go. Stranded in Nottingham without a place to stay. Don’t book.”
