I had an excellent stay with my service animal, the staff was friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms are clean and the beds were comfortable. The two things I want to mention is, you will have to pay for parking which was no big deal at $10 a night and in the evening there is no employee covering the front desk you will have to get someone from the Embassy Suites which is connected to the hotel. I say staying at the Homewood Suites is a good option.
This was an adequate hotel. A little further from the airport than other options; with a car, that isnt a problem. Hotel is in good shape, cookie cutter design and decoration. I would stay here again but it was just a hotel. Tip jar at breakfast was somewhat annoying.
Great deal in my opinion. Room and hotel was clean. Friendly staff. Easy parking and a few restaurants right behind hotel. Safe area but not really walkable. We just needed to stay for 1 night and this worked out well.
I stayed for a conference at the Embassy Suites and when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised that the Homewood and Embassy Suites were connected! The place was clean, quiet, the gym was in great condition, and the desk clerk gave me two bottles of water for my room
Which I was so thankful for. I will stay here again for the conference next year as well.

The lady that was the there the Sunday we checked out it was 11am and she told Us to be quiet while talking in the lobby. She was very nasty and very rude and my niece even was scared! I will never stay there again and I suggest you don’t either. It’s a shame because I travel there almost every month or so. And if I could I would get my money back too!!! Very disappointed…. It was Feb 4th on the homewood suites side and she was foreign and an older lady. Very mean
Fitted sheets came off at night. Pockets were not deep enough. Wallpaper was peeling off in our room. Minor issues overall in the big scheme of things.
You have to pay for parking in their adjacent lot. The restaurant was closed. What looked like free snacks at the bar were charged at checkout. The nightly rate was not the same—it was more than Expedia quoted. The pool was for the attached hotel evidently, since our side’s keys didn’t work to open it. Overall disappointed.
The hotel canceled my reservation because I was not there before midnight even though i called to inform them i would not be there before midnight and my brother who had already checked in told the desk clerk my arrival would be after midnight. We were both told it was not a problem. My confirmation noted a last check in was 5:00am. The hotel gave me a room at a higher rate that had stained carpeting and couch and the bathtub was filthy. The front desk manager and a colleague were extremely rude to me when i questioned the double charge on my account. I was frustrated, but i was not abusive nor did i use foul language, however the female colleague was extremely nasty and neither would listen to what i had to say. They spoke over me supposedly citing corporate policy stating guests who are not there by midnight are considered no shows regardless of whether the hotel was notified ahead of time that there would be a late arrival. I was extremely unhappy with the hotel and its employees. I AM HAPPY, HOWEVER with Expedia's handling of the situation when i called. Lin from Expedia acted immediately, made calls to the hotel and issued me a refund.
Property and room was adequate for what we were in town for.
Amenities could use an upgrade. When we checked in we were a bit confused as we had to go to the embassy suites front desk to get help. The two properties were connected which was a surprise and they only had 1 desk rep taking care of both hotels’ check in desks and it was only 8pm.
Fortunately we did not need any additional assistance during our stay.
My only real complaint would be charging for parking. It didn’t make sense to me for a property so out of the way from things (in my opinion) to charge guests to park their car in their lot—plain old uncovered parking lot. I could see if it was someplace that was close to a sought after attraction, park or museum or something of that nature, but it was Sterling/Ashburn area.
Other than that, everything else was fine.
There was no water in the toilet as the water had been turned off for leaking. No one at desk, hard to find staff. Beds and chairs not very comfortable. Breakfast was good and ac worked good. The only issues were the toilet and not being able to call downstairs. There was no bedding for the pull out and was very hard to find someone to get bedding from. We’re told someone would bring it, waited an hour and had to go ask again for bedding.

I had a dirty, hand towel hanging up on my towel rack, the beds were terrible, the toilet overflowed, and there was water everywhere. The room is very outdated, I State Homewood suites a lot, and this is by far the worst.

At check in they had one person going back and forth between both hotels. No blow dryer shampoo or soap but states online there is. Have to pay for parking per night and it does not state that online.
Room was basic and clean in general. Some furniture in the sitting area was soild and worn. The cleaning service didn't carrfully clean the kitchen area, leaving the floor and counter top soiled.
The facility was nice, but rooms could use a refresh. Had a couple of minor issues with the room, reported them to the staff and they fixed them the same day. Good service!
