Perfect Retreat Spot

Our book club rented this house for our annual book retreat and it was the perfect spot to unwind. It was large enough that we each found our own reading nook and were able to spread out, but also had a great kitchen and living/dining area to come together to eat and socialize. The management company had great communication and follow-through, as well!

Absolutely gorgeous place

This was one of the best places we found. It accommodates even the older family members as we had our aged parents with us too. Big place to give enough privacy as well as opportunity for lot of group activities. Many near by hiking places and water falls. The host is very understanding and accommodating.

The house was exactly as billed

I really could not have asked for more out of a rental house for a get-together of old friends for hiking some relatively nearby trails. All aspects of the house were just as described and offers maximum privacy and quiet as per being in a very wooded community.

Great house and loved our time there. We would be happy to stay there again. One recommendation would be to replace the garbage can in the kitchen. The foot pedal doesn’t work so you have to open it with you hand

Amazing home with a beautiful view

The home was PERFECT for our extended family vacation. Everyone had their own space to escape to and the kids loved the kid-zone downstairs with their own two bedrooms and game room. We will be back in warmer weather for sure!

Hot tub!!

The home was very clean and well appointed. The location is amazing with beautiful views all around. We had one minor request during our stay and the property manager was very prompt in responding. We highly recommend staying here if you’re in the Hendersonville Asheville area.

Spacious and Lovely - Especially the Outdoor Spaces

The house and outdoor spaces are wonderful, especially the hot tub and fire pit area with the rippling stream! Our stay was great except for the fact that the house had not been cleaned when we arrived. The rental agency did send a cleaning crew over and refunded our cleaning fee. They finished cleaning around 7:00 pm and then the relaxation and enjoyment of the facility began. It is a lovely and spacious house with lots off spaces to enjoy.

Beautiful property with tons of amenities

We recently stayed for four nights and found this home to be very comfortable and well appointed. There were 6 of us; 4 adults, a 14 year old and an 11 year old. There was plenty of room and the owner put a lot of thought into the details. Quality toiletries in all the bathrooms, coffee makers on each floor with lots of beverage selections and fresh flowers to name a few. The house itself is beautiful with spectacular views and privacy. There is a two-level deck with several comfortable seating areas. The yard is relaxing and fun, absolutely beautiful. Inside we enjoyed the air hockey, foosball and exercise equipment. All were top notch. Reservations and payment were simple. The concierge was very responsive and super helpful. Things could not have gone smoother. We had a wonderful stay.

Family Holiday

The house is located about 20 minutes out of Hendersonville and is everything you see in the photos. The amenities are all there and the view off the main floor balcony is splendid. Its a very nice accomodation.

Great house and view! Everything you need is there - loved all of the coffee options and the beds we so comfy! The only reason I didn’t leave a 5 was because there was a lag in communication with management about an early check-in. We did get a later check out which was very nice!

Beautiful home in the mountains

Very easy checking in process. We ran into no issues with GPS navigating to the hillside location. House is absolutely gorgeous. Truly meets the photos in the ad. The interior living space is great. We were 2 families with kids, and were never on top of each other. The hot tub was perfect for the four adults, and it was a nice touch that it was already heated when we showed up. The master suite was amazing. I think the master bath tile was heated?! Communication with management was great. I noticed there was a loose sink fixture that was not an emergency, and they said they'd make sure it was fixed for the next guest. The views on the two clear days we had were absolutely stunning. Only (very mild) criticism is the rental property contacted us saying we should bring our own firewood due to high prices locally, which we did, but the firepit there is gas, woops! All in all a beautiful, luxurious place to rest.

Amazing property!

This home is wonderful!! So spacious and well-designed. They have every amenity you could need or think of. Very thoughtful. Gorgeous views. Such a treat! There were a few things that needed minor repairs or attention, a few dead lightbulbs, etc. But still a wonderful stay for our family/group of all ages. Thank you so much! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. 👍

Pleasant Suprise

We regularly stay with VRBO and was pleasantly suprised by the quality of this home. Well equiped with essentials and some lux features as well. Liked the modern lighting and fireplaces. Plenty spacious enough for our big family of 10. Two things of lesser love. One was there was really no place for outdoor activities (like hiking trails) without getting in your car for 20-30 mins. Probably the only management related issue was the horrible stink from the septic drain field when sitting on that side of the house or at the firepit (which sits nearly on top of the field). We contacted management several times on this asking to send someone out to investigate. They repeatedly replied basically with that is just the way it is. I even tried to explain that I had septic for over 20 years and only had such problems when it needed pumping! We could only brave about 40 mins by the pit our entire stay. But yes I still give it 5 stars. Management just needs to solve the septic issue.

Mountain Getaway

The property is absolutely fantastic. The house is gorgeous and the views were amazing. My husband and I came up with our adult children and their significant others and there was plenty of room for us all. We had a small issue with the hot water heater but the management team handled it quickly. We cant wait to come back!

Amazing house and property management!

We had a fantastic stay at Whispering Stream! The house was clean, well stocked, spacious, and beautiful. The rental team was so easy to work with. They responded quickly to every email and were very accommodating. Maintenance was fantastic as well! He came in soon after contacted, was eager to explore our issues and fix them to ensure our stay was nothing less than amazing. I will be recommending this property group to everyone along with the house! We will be back!

Absolutly Beautiful !

I Arrived to whispering stream for a week stay to get away from it all. This home truly delivered. Not only is it impeccably clean and beautifully decorated but quiet as well. The long range views were awe inspiring. The home has an other worldly feel, elevated not only in location but in overall feeling. The color pallet and décor was classy, artistic and modern which created a sense of peace and calm throughout the home. The beds and linens are top notch, gorgeous bathrooms, four to choose from by the way. I stayed by myself but this would be a great choice for large family or friends on a trip as there are many beds and baths, three floors, a hot tub sauna, waterfall , fire pit ect . I decided to spend a day hiking at High Falls which is not far away and came back to the hot tub. All I can say is ahhh. Hendersonville is a short drive away with some excellent restaurants, Ashville 45 minutes. Dinner at The Highland Lake Inn is also top notch but that's another review. Loved the outdoor swinging chairs, coffee on every floor and dry sauna. I wish I could have stayed longer. I would highly recommend this home to friends and family for a quiet getaway or a full house gathering. Truly a superb stay!! Thank You
