Beautiful view at the house
Excellent place to stay. The views off the deck are amazing. You will see all kinds of wildlife. Great location close to restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed our stay and will come back.

Great location, but mixed feelings
Great location on edge of town close to everything. Even the bears seemed to like location (we saw 4). Unbelievable view of Chimney Rock with Broad River flowing in the backyard with a fantastic deck and porch to enjoy the view. However, odd placement of furniture in the porch facing the river instead of enjoying the beautiful view your back is to, there was no accessible outlets to charge my phone which I use as an alarm clock (I had to charge it behind a mirror across the room), mattress was so firm I felt like I was sleeping on a table, dishwasher had an out of order sign on it, & there was no lock on bathroom door. These things can all be overlooked & I would not have even mentioned it except for the biggest thing that turned us off...the overbearing, nit-picky host who had pages and pages of a contract to sign with dozens of rules to follow and fees if things were not followed exactly to a T. We were sent the rules and fees in an email about 6-7 times. Definitely do not show up a minute early or leave a minute late or you will be charged a fee. We had to have car information and license numbers 2-3 months in advance, even after telling the host we might be using a rental car. We were contacted multiple times by email and text to send the information or risk cancellation. Phone call within 2 min of arrival to see if we had read rules. The rules and fees made everyone in the cabin so afraid to use the hot tub or enjoy anything in the cabin for fear of being charged a fee.

Perfect Location
We have been coming to Chimney Rock for the last few years and this is by far the best location we have stayed at. The river in the back yard and walking distance to everything makes this place an absolute must. The only one tiny small issue I noticed was that it was quite dark in the house. But since we were outside in the river and in town it really wasn’t anything to worry about.

Chimney Rock on the river
We had a wonderful stay at this house. Beautiful view of Chimney Rock from the porch. Sounds and sites of the Broad River as your back yard, wow! 800 feet walk to both Chimney Rock Brewing and Burnt Shirt Winery was a plus! Served as a great home base to visit Asheville, Hendersonville and Black Mountain for our day trips. Would stay here again if we come back to the area.

Mom two kids and two dogs trip to chimney rock
We had a great stay at the chimney rock house. The views were breathtaking. The river ran right behind the house and the sounds of the river were therapeutic and marvelous. It was a great stay plenty of land for the dogs and the kids enjoyed sitting on the cool rock with stairs out back overlooking the mountain and river.

Quant cabin on a roaring brook. Cozy and ideal for a family. The location is perfect for day trips. Walking distance to the charming village of Chimney Rock. Flat surfaces so good for young and old. Well appointed and great location.

Outside is wonderful
The house is just as pictured, older with TINY bathrooms. Bring ground coffee with you, no pods. Lots and lots of remotes, would help if they were labeled as to what they work. You will need to buy ice for your stay, ice maker not good. Sitting out by the water was wonderful. We had a fire in the firepit one night. If you are there early in the week, you either need to plan to cook or go elsewhere to eat. Most places not open until Thursday. There is a grocery that is not too far away but very pricey. All in all it was an enjoyable stay.

PERFECT
We LOVED our stay in the river house. The kids spent hours and hours tubing down the river. What a fantastic location, so many couches and rooms to hang out in. We will be back. Only downfall was the master bed was super hard, but overall we LOVED this home and vaca!!!

Amazing location
The river was perfect and the sound of it made us feel peaceful and relaxed. The location was better than any I've experienced. You can walk everywhere, yet it feels very private. The view of chimney rock from the hot tub was the perfect way to end the day after hiking up to it. Management was very responsive and easy to contact. Perfect place to disconnect with electronics and connect with family.

Spectacular location and backyard
This property is sooo spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for us. I particularly wanted a lovely pet friendly, fly fishing, location with easy restaurant/shopping access. BINGO. My husband enjoyed walking out the backdoor to fish at his leisure, i loved the river sounds and views as well as the Best view of Chimney Rock ever! There are a few items that could use some attention ( shower wall/ stove burner) but the overall stay was terrific. I came home and recommended this location to three friends (hooked them up with links). It was a lovely home and we appreciated "borrowing " it for the weekend. Thank you 😊 💓.

Location, Location, Location
Great location to enjoy the Broad River, Chimney Rock and if you're interested in leaving, other surrounding areas. My family and I enjoyed our time at the Chimney Rock River House. We not get enough of the flowing water and the peace it brought us but just being there with the family, taking it in and enjoying the time together was wonderful. I highly recommend this home.

Great location
The house is a stone throw from the winery and brewery. Hendersonville is closer and more realistic for cost than Asheville. Chimney Rock is a must for the sights and views. Great, and I stress, great location. Will stay here again.
